not every film needs to tell a clearly identifiable, linear story anon
also, Mulholland Drive actually HAS a pretty straightforward plot: young girl moves to L.A. to become a filmstar, in her aunt's rented apartment she meets someone who's been in a car accident and lost her memory. together they try to figure out what's going on
i mean the last half hour gets a bit more complicated, but even that is not exactly rocket science
but yes the Lesbian stuff is very hot
the winkies scene is great but the club silencio scene is the best. The lead up to it has the characters and audience confused, lost in a sea of clues and random shit that might not go anywhere but feels like it means something. then the club silencio scene happens and everything about it makes you feel like its the climax of the movie, even though you have no idea what the frick is happening. everything that comes after silencio feels almost like epilogue, despite the numerous reveals and dramatic moments.
Here are some of my other favorites

The 7th Voyage of Sinbad
The Thing
Lawrence of Arabia
Con Air
Conan the Barbarian
Cube
Desperado

So is anyone ever gonna figure out what this movie actually means or is Lynch gonna be the only one? Even his hints on the DVD release haven’t solved anything

We get it, you prefer style over substance. This doesn't make you special and isn't brag worthy.
>style over substance
only midwits use this term
>i have no personality so i read a top movies of all time list and chose something near the top
>i have no personality so i act like a contrarian and project.

The two true movies
it makes little to no sense, and only is watched for the lesbian scenes

I have to agree, it's one of the best if not the best movie ever made.
The music too, Badalamenti really made the most heart tearing music.

I don't get it but who gives a shit?
If you don't like this film you're either gay or an incel.
