3 is dogshit. Anyone who says 3 is good hasn’t watched it within the past 5 years. It’s convoluted, and poorly executed. Also, since it was the last one in the trilogy, I suspect the writers rushed it and didn’t put a lot of heart into it because they didn’t have to worry about selling a fourth one, and they just wanted to move on to other projects. If someone handed me a pen and paper and told me to write the script for Spider-man 3, I could’ve done as good or a better job if I was merely only 10

I watched SM3 not long ago and was amazed by how well the sfx hold up. The CGI looks better than anything in The Avengers

Honestly I prefer 1. It has the best balance of all the elements. Peter in 2 is an insufferable homosexual, plus they overused cgi in combat and it shows, looks like shit sometimes. 3 holds up better from a technical point of view, and if it weren't some some moronic things like the dance scene it would be remembered as fondly as 2.

The dance scene isn't moronic. The reason 3 sucked was because it was too much going on. I know Raimi wanted to do sandman but honestly that was the worst aspect of the film and it would've been better without any sandman stuff at all. The black suit made the film what it is.

Raimi MJ while I would have preferred the traditional one, adds to the realism that relationships are not clean and perfect. Also adds to Peter's kinda shitty life that he has to pick himself up from and be a hero which makes him cooler.

You know I used to share this opinion but after my most recent re watch I'd say one is the best Spider-Man movie. The fight with Green Goblin at the end is just too kino.

I love how half the movie is just Peter trying his very best but still always coming up short. Really relatable and shows that day-to-day life is hard even when you're a superhero.
