And the flash beats gl throughout the nineties and the beginning of the 2000s and has been better than GL currently since like 2016. Both have a good claim I just think Flash fits better. GL has definitely has a better claim than Diana just because of his costume. Always hated how 2/3 of the trinity shared a color pallette.
>Can't argue >Just cries about flash having a more recent and longer show than Wondy.
I couldn't give a shit about the cw show if I tried but the start of it is okay enough and it got the flash a spotlight he deserves more than Diana.

>b-bro his comics were better 40 years ago!
Holy cope
Comic books are irrelevant niche, you dumbfrick. Wonder Woman is far more iconic than both GL and Flash combined and her movie made over 800 million in box office. Your opinion is worthless.
>Wonder Woman is far more iconic than both GL and Flash combined
Only because they pushed her far more due to the fact that they needed a female to fill the slot, GL or Flash rightfully deserve it more
It’s because hetero men find her sexy and women like the image of a strong, sexy woman. That’s way more appealing than dorky ass Flash or Green Lantern
>Comic don't fricking matter!!!!
Okay homosexual then don't come to a comics board Wonder woman's second movie bombed hard and nobody fricking remembers her first movie despite the box office. The flash has a more appealing power and costume. Had a longer running show than Diana's from the 70s and in general is more popular among boys than wonder woman is among either gender.
Kek and wonder woman isn't? Flash definitely has more interest from normies than her based solely on his power. Diana is a feminist icon on a purely superficial level no one actually likes her.
Thanks to Johns and the GL show, Hal has been significantly raised. The live action movie fricked things up but then all you have to do is be reminded of the Flash and WW84 movies.

It doesn't matter, dude. The fact is Flash is essential to the establishment of a multiverse as a concept in DC, and has been elevated to making it through Crises to a degree that is even known by characters at this point, on top of the fact that the Speed Force literally helps hold the universe together.
I love Hal as a character, and understand the boost he has gotten in recent years, but in the grand scheme of things outside of his universe being threatened by rogue Guardian frickery coming home to roost, the stakes just aren't quite at the same level.
>The fact is Flash is essential to the establishment of a multiverse as a concept in DC, and has been elevated to making it through Crises to a degree that is even known by characters at this point
Multiverse shit is one of the worst parts about DC.
That may be, but do you think the general perception of the post-Crisis DCU (the multiple generations of Society, League, and Titans all existing at the same time, adding depth to the different legacies) exists without it? They absolutely have been playing with the multiverse toy too much for too long, and the movies are normifying it, but as much as Marvel really jumped into the deep end of the concept during Hickman's Avengers run, for the bulk of the time that I've paid attention to comics, Multiverse shit as a concept was something I tended to consider more in DC's wheelhouse than anyone else, but that was mostly because they had more restraint doing anything with it than they seem to now.
Most people just consider Robin an extension of Batman, but if you look at Robin/Nightwing, the Titans, and his legacy characters as a separate franchise then he beats out literally everyone.
Hal even makes for a nice contrast with the other two's personalities >Clark: farm boy trying to be human despite his power, with a drive to help people purely for the sake of it >Bruce: grim soldier of vengeance and symbol of fear, fighting a never-ending war on crime so other's won't suffer the way he did >Hal: fricking idiot
First DC character with a solo book = Superman
Second DC character with a solo book = Batman
Third DC character with a solo book = Flash
Fourth DC character with a solo book = Green Lantern
...
You say that while people actually want his comics to do better, hence why his #1 sold well this year. You can’t say the same for Wonder Woman or Batman,
So? You don’t buy a Batman or Wonder Woman comic for quality you buy it because of the name. You buy a GL comic because it’s good.

That’s just not true. I don’t buy any of them, I’m mostly pulling image, IDW and boom comics at the moment in all honesty
Also has nothing to do with you acting like having 3 #1s in the time since Batman, Detective and Wonder Woman were given a new number 1 is somehow a success.
Imagine thinking that Dick Grayson acks like Batman.
What? Because he dresses in black and does street-level crime fighting?
You guys gonna start calling Ollie, Green Batman, moving forward? Hell, if you ignore the costume, Dick acts more like Ollie than Bruce in most cases. He's just less of a frick up on the actual crimefighting part, because he was trained by a traumatized autist. But he is literally the nice guy everyone loves because he is there for everyone is a way Bruce could only dream of if he ever saw the value in it.
Hell, when Ric started dressing up, he was closer to Batman in behavior than Dick is.
Diana was always the token girl. DC started making more content for her after the movie was a hit. Before that, it was kind of brutal the difference between her and the other two.
Bro it’s been 12 years let it go.
it's been 12 years... and you still owe him 16 dollars
I would say the flash is more deserving to be the third member than Hal and Diana. He has more quality comics than both
GL mudstomps Flash all throughout the 70s and 80s

Flashgays are genuinely moronic. Sorry you couldn’t afford anything more than basic cable CW growing up.
>Can't argue
>Just cries about flash having a more recent and longer show than Wondy.
I couldn't give a shit about the cw show if I tried but the start of it is okay enough and it got the flash a spotlight he deserves more than Diana.
You misunderstand, I don’t think Wonder Woman is a legitimate third pillar. Hal Barry and Arthur are all better fits.
Thematically Arthur plays a good Poseidon to Superman’s Zeus and Batman’s Hades.
>b-bro his comics were better 40 years ago!
Holy cope
Add the 90s and mid-2000s and 2010s.
Comic books are irrelevant niche, you dumbfrick. Wonder Woman is far more iconic than both GL and Flash combined and her movie made over 800 million in box office. Your opinion is worthless.

There's plenty of female characters to coom to, GL and Flash are endearing, that's why one of them deserves third spot.
>your bf dissapears into thin air
>starts beatboxing

Cope flashtard, your shitty character is a nobody outside of small, insignificant niche of comic book losers.
Kek and wonder woman isn't? Flash definitely has more interest from normies than her based solely on his power. Diana is a feminist icon on a purely superficial level no one actually likes her.

>do you think the general perception of the post-Crisis DCU
do you think this is a thing normal people think about
do you think it matters to telling stories about dudes in wetsuits with or without capes wailing on aliens, the poor and the mentally ill
You didn’t even respond to his post you just pulled some holier than thou “I’m not a dork” shit. Whether normies discuss it or not doesn’t matter.
>do you think this is a thing normal people think about
Do you think "the real DC Trinity" is something normal people think about?
Geoff’s GF run says otherwise.
Great run, but The Flash is a more consistent comic quality wise. Especially the last decade and the nineties.
Lol flashgays believe this, you havent even read 80 percent of his comics I’m sure.
any of the flashes > GL
WW > GL
MM > GL
The trinity has always been Batman, Superman, and Robin. Any attempts to push a separate trinity will always fail.
sidekicks are barely their own character they dont count
Every DC character that isn't Superman or Batman is a sidekick.
Most people just consider Robin an extension of Batman, but if you look at Robin/Nightwing, the Titans, and his legacy characters as a separate franchise then he beats out literally everyone.
>his high point is becoming batman for a teens team, and an actual batman ripoff
great character guys
>Batman’s sidekick gets big enough to spin off on his own
>acts like Batman but younger
Shocking.
well done anon well done, however
There is no trinity, only Batman and his b***hes.
Superman, Batman and toothpaste commercial character
Hal even makes for a nice contrast with the other two's personalities
>Clark: farm boy trying to be human despite his power, with a drive to help people purely for the sake of it
>Bruce: grim soldier of vengeance and symbol of fear, fighting a never-ending war on crime so other's won't suffer the way he did
>Hal: fricking idiot
>Hal
More like an aimless vagabond trying to figure his way to fit it in our world and his own Corps
>Hal
More like Superman bullying target
>hal, pedophile
Ftfy
The actual trinity
God, I fricking hate Hal. No, I won't elaborate
get off the computer Guy
First DC character with a solo book = Superman
Second DC character with a solo book = Batman
Third DC character with a solo book = Flash
Fourth DC character with a solo book = Green Lantern
...
The reality is there is no Trinity, the pecking order is Batman > Superman > irrelevant
>Booster Gold shill
Get out of here.
Honestly a time travel guy to round out the alien and the gadget/tech guy isn't a bad idea
>no trunks
No that’s a Walmart knockoff brand group of Non-Denominational Superheroes
Hal is the only character there who had a good run.
Hal > Bruce > Clark
Hal had his push, it didn't work. It's over. Let it go Geoff.
The last time DC had a good event was Blackest Night.
Which was over 10 years ago, Hal is done.

>how about the Flas-ACK!
>Post Tom King writing to make a charcter look bad.
Tom King is a hack, muh trauma, shouldn't be taken seriously.
Based on the impact the character had on the DCU, I'd say Flash deserves it.
Not anymore. Poor Green Jobber.
NuDC fricking hates GL tho
Imagine thinking that Dick Grayson acks like Batman.

>Acks
But only if you replace Superman & GL with Harley & Joker
Diana was always the token girl. DC started making more content for her after the movie was a hit. Before that, it was kind of brutal the difference between her and the other two.
>float twelve feet off the ground
>Flash can't catch ya
Did we forget?
