Christ, what an obvious movie. It was a huge cultural touch-stone to me as a kid, but it's such a shame that this masterpiece of color and composition is unwatchable narratively for an adult.
I know Pocahontas sucks as a movie but I genuinely think Colors of the Wind/Just Around the Riverbend are the best Disney songs. I can't decide between the 2 myself.
sounds very western/colonial with the snare drums and brass. bootlicking imperial propaganda for the whole world. young working class dudes are supposed to die in old rich men's wars
>heaven's light/hell fire >friend like me >prince ali >the bells of notre-dame >be prepared >bare necessities >hakuna matata >poor unfortunates souls >gaston >everybody wants to be a cat >circle of life
I like this one, OP, but it can even reach my top 10
>asks for God to deliver him from sin >God gives him a chance to repent by the gypsy escaping >symbolized by a door with the light coming through away from the flame >he rejects it by turning back towards the flames and sin and sealing his fate
masterpiece of a song
What's the first then, Black person?
Based
hmm they replaced "their whole disgusting race is like a curse" with "here's what you get when races are diverse" at 0:49

Pocahontas didn't deserve a song as good as Colors of the Wind.

Mulan gets better every time I rewatch it
>when you accidentally tap on one of those pop up phone ads
Wrong its the best. This one is second best
Best song scene. Is that the same as best song? Eh. I'm open to the idea
For the win:
Savages, savages, barely even human!
All of my favorite Disney songs are from sequels.
We Are One
That song by JLH in Hunchback 2
Father and Son in Aladdin POT
No one picked this, guess I will
So many plebs in this thread...they should all BURN!
>old man gets a boner
>burns down a city because of it
You would, too.
>asks for God to deliver him from sin
>God gives him a chance to repent by the gypsy escaping
>symbolized by a door with the light coming through away from the flame
>he rejects it by turning back towards the flames and sin and sealing his fate

best song agreed
>To defeat the huns
Why are they called the huns if they are not?
