>We need a sequel with an evil white woman who impersonates her, releases him and raises hell alongside him
Isn't that Grimhilde in Snow White movie since Magnifico is supposed to become the mirror
Those are just nods to previous Disney movies because last year was 100 years of Disney. Asha isn't actually Cinde's fairy godmother, Magnifico isn't really the magic mirror and Amaya isn't Grimhilde. Don't let this shitty movie tarnish Disney history.
I just listened to the song for the first time and that is not what I expected it to sound like. It was way too upbeat and has too much zoomer slang ("peep the name", "uhh ungrateful much?").
If it’s done right, an upbeat villain song can actually work. Ratigan had TWO upbeat songs and both were awesome, “Be Like You”, arguably “Friends on the Other Side”.
The issue is that it needs to fit the character and it needs to be catchy. Neither of those fit Magnifico’s song.
This was the first movie where they tried hiring composers who work in the pop industry rather than musicals, and the result was horrible
For a "celebration" movie, this flick actually shat on a lot of traditions the studio had
>Queen had magic oil that let you read the magic book with no ill effects >kept that to herself, never told her husband about it when he's the only magician around to read it
I say it was a setup. She knew him well enough to play on his insecurities and then switch sides when the coup was in motion.
The evil king of Mexico?
of Spain actually
>Spain
We're Americans, we don't know what that is
imagine mexico but with less white people and more brown people
Spain is full of white ppl
that's what they say, but the whitest spaniard is browner than the brownest mexican
anon, that's called having a tan.
How is that possible when it's full of Spaniards?
He means spanish gypsies, who are whiter than spaniards
...any country further south of Mexico?
including Mexico
It's full of black people, unlike Spain. Try again.
Wow, Guy Fieri is even more accomplished than I realized.
They should have kept the wife being a villain with him
We need a sequel with an evil white woman who impersonates her, releases him and raises hell alongside him

In a cosmic sort of way; yes

I can see why TikTok was ripping it to shit.
