It's insane how likeable Bobby is compared to his actor, he's one of the nicest characters and then Steve Schirripa acts like an butthole you'd meet at a bar
Everyone says this but I've watched like 12 episodes so far and it's really not that bad. It's obvious Steve goes on stupid tangents sometimes but the podcast can be a decent listen in my opinion.
Its all part of the character and actor casting. Bobby seems like a tall teddy bear, but when they show him menacing, he pulls it off really well.
Casting director was probably looking for "butthole first, but tender on the inside"

They were honestly trying to get the podcast over with midway through. By the time they were on the fourth season they were bringing in people who didn't even watch the fricking show. Michael probably fricking regrets ever doing this
