I started Dragon Ball for the first time this week, I am only familiar with DBZ (Cell Saga scared the crap out of me back when it aired in 2000)

they played Dragonball Z reruns in the afternoons in the mid 90s when I was 11. I liked watching cartoons but I couldn't make heads or tails of it, and never watched it. Dragonball was never good.
I probably watched a couple of seasons' worth of Dragonball Z as a kid and I still have no fricking clue what it was even about 20 years later.
