There's a reason that non-whites view Batman more and more as a symbol of right-wing fascism, and part of that is because the character exhibits a near Trump-level of cultural worship by his fans. THere's very few characterizations that have chosen to ignore the current "Zeitgeist" of Batman
From everything I've seen the Suicide Squad game is just a giant middle finger to actual fans of Batman, like Insomniac's Spider-Man 2 was to Spider-Man fans.
Kevin Conroy is so fricking terrible, I’m sorry but he his. He literally gas no depth whatsoever, every single line no matter the context is always the same, dry, emotionless delivery. One of the most overrated voice actors, probably the most, of all time. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy Sub-Zero as I have fond memories of watching it as a child, and TAS is the only worthwhile Batman cartoon, but he’s still terrible. No range whatsoever. And this homosexual even had the audacity to bash Bale’s performance and tried to take credit as the originator of the “two separate voices” of Batman and Bruce (which he didn’t create in the slightest)
>and TAS is the only worthwhile Batman cartoon
opinion fricking discarded into the sewers >and tried to take credit as the originator of the “two separate voices” of Batman and Bruce
He did? That's pretty hilarious considering his BTAS Bruce and Batman hardly had much difference in their voices
>He did? That's pretty hilarious considering his BTAS Bruce and Batman hardly had much difference in their voices
They did in the original run, they're more similar from the fourth season on. Adam West didn't change his voice, Keaton hardly did, it might be true.
Yeah, sorry but this is stupid. Firstly, this is one of the only times he actually does this, secondly, his voice acting is terrible (no range or believability) and thirdly, why would he be talking in his “Batman” voice while alone with Alfred? Makes no sense.
>and thirdly, why would he be talking in his “Batman” voice while alone with Alfred? Makes no sense.
Wait, weren't you just dickriding Bale ten minutes ago? His Batman does that, too. He talks to Lucius Fox in his Batman voice when Fox is standing in the temporary Batcave. Batman even keeps the voice on when he's randomly talking to the camera like Deadpool in that one scene in TDKR
>Batman even keeps the voice on when he's randomly talking to the camera like Deadpool in that one scene in TDKR
I hate that scene for two reasons. 1, it's tonally inconsistent and fricking weird to see in le gritty realism capeshit movie. 2, if they're going to have Batman randomly start cracking jokes to the audience directly, then they should have done it when he's flying the nuclear bomb away from Gotham. They should have referenced the 60s Batman movie by having him look into the camera and say "some days you just can't get rid of a bomb".

what scene did batman break the fourth wall in? I don't remember that

I don't remember exactly when it happens in the movie, but at one point Catwoman does the "Batman disappears while Gordon isn't looking" gag on Batman and he turns and goes "so that's what that feels like".
He is the best VA for Batman, although Peter Weller was also pretty good. >bashed Bale's performance
Good. Bale was the weakest link in those movies. Affleck had the most potential out of them all (something Conroy himself accurately pointed out), but in the end his tenure amounted to little.
Nah, there's a reason they stuck with him. Hearing Jensen Ackles try to conjure a "batman voice" was just taxing. I could sense how hard it was for him.
Roger Craig Smith who voiced Batman in Origins is alright, but it's just a variation of Conroy with more youthful angst to it.
Bale's approach could've worked the best on paper, but he overdid the Bat-voice too much by the second movie.
Diedrich Bader does the best Batman voice. It can be both serious but comical. He has better range than Conroy. Conroy was cool in the 90s but that’s about it. His “I AM VENGEANCE I AM LE NIGHT I AM BATMAN” is corny
Nah Diedrich is based. Captures both the serious and goofy aspects of a guy dressed as a giant Bat.

Jensen was better as Jason.
Yeah, sorry but this is stupid. Firstly, this is one of the only times he actually does this, secondly, his voice acting is terrible (no range or believability) and thirdly, why would he be talking in his “Batman” voice while alone with Alfred? Makes no sense.
>Firstly, this is one of the only times he actually does this,
Now , I'm really confused. I think I better watch the series again for myself. Because uptil now I was sure he had the same voice for both Bruce and Bats
Like I said, it works in Brave and the Bold. Not for a more serious or nuanced cartoon like BTAS. And while Conroy was gay, the overdone "stereotypical tough guy" voice Diedrich does is a bigger lampoon of masculinity than Conroy's more natural delivery.
I think if he got a more serious script aside from brave and the bold and the Harley Quinn cartoon he could hone in on a more serious voice instead of hoss Delgado
>And this homosexual even had the audacity to bash Bale’s performance
He based the voice while maintaining that Bale is one of the best actors working in modern Hollywood. If you like Bale's Batman that's all well and good, but if you think the voice doesn't sound like a sketch comedy bit then I'm not inclined to take you opinions seriously.
>I really like his voice acting >DID YOU KNOW HE LIKED DICKS IN HIS ASS?
I'm so tired of having to know everyone's sexual preference all the time. Can't they just have a cool career and let that be that?
Not knocking him. But the internet now shoving it down our throats. gays always find shit like this then never let it go. If you don't think him being gay is going to be mentioned within the first 3 sentences on his Wikipedia entry now, then you're not living in current year.
>If you don't think him being gay is going to be mentioned within the first 3 sentences on his Wikipedia entry now, then you're not living in current year.
By "now" do you mean after this thread specifically? Because it's not in the first three sentences of his Wikipedia page.
>I'm so tired of having to know everyone's sexual preference all the time
To be fair, he was closeted for the vast majority of his career. I don't know if he ever denied it, but he didn't talk about it until a couple years before he died. That's part of the reason people are acting like its some novel thing.
>not making a big deal about it >literally made a comic about it >we're discussing it now because he wouldn't shut the frick up about how much he loves gargling semen
He didn't though, that's the point. Most people didn't even know about it until the comic. Not to mention the comic itself is pretty benign and not preachy in any way. It draws a parallel to Batman needing to conceal his identity.
How is a short comic a big deal? You're reaching hard here.
DC was doing this pride month thing and asked him to partake in it as a writer, that's it.

Saying someone didn't make a big deal about their sexuality implies they keep it to themselves
making a comic is the opposite of that
It's extremely dishonest to say he didn't make a big deal about it
I am so tired of hearing from you narcissistic gays, honestly

Given the context, it really isn't a big deal. You acting like Conroy's entire identity was him preaching about homosexuality the whole time or it being transferred to Batman in any way is the dishonest part.
It doesn't impact or change his work as Batman in any way.
Wow he penetrated dried up crust by fricking men in the ass? This adds whole new dimensions to his performance
really cool
did he gargle cum and drink the piss of random men at orgies?
so cool
>did he gargle cum and drink the piss of random men at orgies? >so cool
would be cooler if he did it with the batman voice. but we have no confirmation for that
>Joel Schumacher is a gay man and Cinemaphile dick rides his awful Batman movies (as well as those of Tony Scott) >Conroy is a gay actor (shocking) and suddenly he's the worst Batman
Just another day at the office
I don't hate Forever, but it's worth noting that Schumacher's gay influence is easier to spot (bat nipples, ass shots, etc). Kevin never suggested anything gay for Batman and never played him like a nancy boy either. He was well aware that he's a heterosexual character and respected the material.
So? You're probably an infinitely worse person than the goons in your screenshot. Go frick yourself. Better yet, go have a nice day. I'm tired of your shit.
An extremely short throwaway comic issue isn't remotely comparable to a novel. More over, it was the only entry in the gay pride thing that was even readable in any extent.
If someone said "That person doesn't make a big deal about their sexuality", but that person had made comics about their sexual fetishes, and they were hetero, yes, I would disagree just as much.
A lot of Kevin's frick buddies died of AIDS in his life. You might abhor Kevin for this, but he did this willingly, knowing that gayness is a disease and the only cure is AIDS and death. In a way, he is our Batman.
Kevin Conroy started phoning it in with Arkham Knight and everything after. I remember when that game came out, besides the complaining of how poorly it ran, the batmobile stuff and how poor the story was, a common complaint was just how mediocre his performance was. He honestly should have retired after that game.
Also, I don't give a shit about the Suicide Squad game, but the people saying it was a bad "send off" are moronic. It was never meant to be a "send off." Kevin nor the crew on the game knew that he was gonna die. You can kill Batman, even in a "definitive" way, but that doesn't mean he can't come back. Super Heroes have come back through ridiculous means countless of times. Knowing DC, it would have most likely been timeline shenanigans.
Why was Batman so angry in Knight? Just relax bro
he had clown cancer
>WB going full damage control after the stillbirth of Suicide Squad: Kills Rocksteady Studios
lmao
Did that come out already?
Come out if you paid for the special edition
butt stuff?
wow i care now
>he was gay? wow thats kinda cool
Lmfao.
>He had aids! Wow, pretty cool!
>Wow, she’s not white? That’s awesome!
>Whoa! She attached flesh chopped off of her arm to her crotch and now she’s a he!? That’s heckin’ sweet!
>wow, everyone in this thread is a virgin, that’s kinda cool
Men used his bowels to jerk off and cum into? Neat.
He lost many friends to AIDS. Be respectful.

it's not even just Batman fans. after Boomerang kills Flash, he stops to take a piss on his dead body.

Well I stand corrected. I could've sworn there was no difference in his voice when I watched it before or maybe I've just forgotten
Yeah, sorry but this is stupid. Firstly, this is one of the only times he actually does this, secondly, his voice acting is terrible (no range or believability) and thirdly, why would he be talking in his “Batman” voice while alone with Alfred? Makes no sense.
>why would he be talking in his “Batman” voice while alone with Alfred? Makes no sense.
I hope you're pretending to be moronic
Do you have an actual answer, or?
Because his Batman voice IS his real voice. Alfred is family.
Bruce is a persona he puts on for the public.
>and thirdly, why would he be talking in his “Batman” voice while alone with Alfred? Makes no sense.

No, he’s not, you think he is because he played 90 fricking percent of animated batman roles, he sucks.

Nah Diedrich is based. Captures both the serious and goofy aspects of a guy dressed as a giant Bat.

his voice was good in Begins but then he overdid it for the next two
MUH POWAH MUH POWAH MUH PAYYYYYYYYYYYNNNNNN
So, because he voiced a cool capeshit character that means he couldn't be a gay? Comicgays need to get a grip.
hes a homosexual?
dropped
/twdg/ was so fricking good.
Couldn't get into season 3, they tried too hard to get me to like the new cast
>DUDE weed lmao
No it wasn't
Batman works alone. He doesn't need Robin, BatGirl, or anyone's assistance.
He finally relented and guess what?
He died of aids.
heresy
batman? more like battyman!

well, that's awkward
Holy shit. There are non-gay actors?
There aren't. Props to him for not making a big deal out of it either way.

Not a big deal.

Do you get this mad when dude's talk about how much they love their wives when giving speeches and shit?
No, because normal sex isnt repulsive.
It is when obese neckbeards like you are having it. Fortunately that could never happen
at least Im not a degenerate homosexual like you. kys
Weak. My thing was much better. I hope you're embarrassed for making this post.
>I hope you're embarrassed for making this post.
nope, dont care what homosexuals think of me. Now get AIDS and die.
I don't believe you. You sound mad.
just wishful thinking you human canker sore 🙂
If someone said "That person doesn't make a big deal about their sexuality", but that person had made comics about their sexual fetishes, and they were hetero, yes, I would disagree just as much.
