It reminds me of Damian Wayne how some modern adaptations and fanart depict him as dark as a black person just because he's half arabic, even though Talia is clearly light skin and Bruce is very white, and so the skin color in pic related just would not happen unless Talia in that universe comes from the darkest region of Africa instead.

My theory as to why they made Damian so dark in the webtoon is that they knew sjw's would flock to it, so they made him so dark there was absolutely no way they could get accused of whitewashing, you just know if they gave damian a realistic skin color they would screech and get the webtoon cancelled
