>this isn't... LE METH... ITS LE SPECIAL PLOT DEVICE I MADE THAT CAUSES AN EXPLOSION WHEN I THROW IT AT.. LE WALL *throws it at the wall*
>this isn't... LE METH... ITS LE SPECIAL PLOT DEVICE I MADE THAT CAUSES AN EXPLOSION WHEN I THROW IT AT.. LE WALL *throws it at the wall*
Bring the bottle back
it's fulminated mercury
And?
That's actually what it would do. The problem with the realism of the scene is that it probably wouldn't have been able to get that much of it to dealers without it going off before hand.
Myth Busters says otherwise. They had a breaking bad episode.
>Myth Busters says otherwise. They had a breaking bad episode.
>both shows owned by the same network
>network heads want to increase the value and perceived accuracy of their flagship show
I'm in doubt.
But the MB episode literally showed it DOESN'T work like that? Anyway in BB it wasn't just fulminated mercury, Walt says he added a "trick of chemistry" to it.
>He added a plot device to it
B R A V O
>literally
>this is a statement that ends in a question mark?
The onions writing keeps on coming.
>aw man, I almost had to admit my argument was bad, but luckily you wrote your point in a way I don't approve of, hahaha tough luck pal
You used a question mark at the end of a non question to show judgement, this is zoomer lingo and you are an insufferable homosexual for this
I'm 29 and I used the ? as a sign of incredulity.
this level of nitpick makes you look like a huge gay
kys
schizo moment
>schizo moment
>both shows owned by the same network
What does this have to do with anything you dumbass?
mythbusters said it would've killed everyone in the room
It would work then
did they reproduce his meth and test it out on some junkies?
Anon. That’s how grant died.
what does fulminated means in chemistry
It means its a fulminic acid salt
Did millennial boomers really piss and shit themselves when they saw this scene?
millennial boomer here yes we did ngl not our finest hour but it happened
Breaking Bad hype was a very forced thing designed to capitalize on GoT's success and AMC's rivalry with HBO at the time. The vast majority of people that watched it "while it aired" had never seen a single episode until season 4. That said they were extremely obnoxious about it, so the answer to your question is: sort of.
Breaking Bad came out three years before Game of Thrones, you moronic fricking cretin.
The angle clearly shows he throws it at the floor. How the frick did he survive throwing that at his own feet?
He jumped right at the last second
>trying unsuccessfully to not be reddittt
>is reddittt
Please stop using the ages old “le” “ironically.” You actually make it ironic, but not intentionally
definitely an unexpected resolution
why are there so many breaking bad threads all of a sudden
Breaking bad needs to be taken down like 4-5 pegs. It’s a garbage red dit soap opera, and it should’ve happened like 6 years ago.
Now with bcs turning out to be a piece of shit show people’s mindsets are more clear
lol ok so you're an internet warrior
He's a homosexual contrarian who doesn't have any self awareness whatsoever. Probably 20yrs old and hates everyone and everything except what he considers "good" and then mocks people for not having his same opinion.
So literally just every teenager to ever exist. He'll grow out of it in about 10 years... hopefully
This OP has been trying to force this scene for a few days now for some reason. It's the same shit as always, some autist gets a fixation and everyone else has to deal with it until he finds a new thing to obsess over.
Vince has to plug BCS DVDs
It has been resurfaced on tiktok
Have you been on Twitter? Zoomers are all over this show. They discovered it like a year ago they've been making memes ever since.
Whenever the weather cools people start rewatching shit shows that they have seen 5 times before
we`re badly broken
>we`re badly broken
Took me two whole seconds to get the joke. I'm ashamed.
Because it's good
>This OP has been trying to force this scene for a few days now for some reason. It's the same shit as always, some autist gets a fixation and everyone else has to deal with it until he finds a new thing to obsess over.
ok but why did you post a selfie
>ok but why did you post a selfie
why do you keep posting your reaction to my quotes
Yikes! What a shitty comeback. As shit as the scene of Gus straightening his tie with half his face blown off
Listen kid, I don't need the whole rigamarole from a snot nose little brat like yourself. Do us a favor and lurk for 5 years before telling oldgays like me what I should or shouldn't like
K champ?

FRUNK
I uh, think I'm in the middle of something
>so... who talks first... do I talk first or-ACK
OH N-
HE DEFECATED THROUGH A SUNROOF
I like Breaking Bad but this was always moronic. How the frick do you make an explosive that blows out all the windows and lights but somehow literally ignores all living tissue?
See:
You know a show is great when incels do nothing but create threads about it 24/7 and try to find flaws or use the le...meme to belitte it.
So does incel refer to anyone making fun of this shitty show now? Breaking bad fans are severely moronic.
>So does incel refer to anyone making fun of this shitty show now?
No. But nobody that fricks would make fun of BB.
Vince pls. Your "realistic" show is capeshit tier tripe. No amount of seething or coping will change that
>using incel
breaking bad fans confirmed trannies
>Oh, and by the way, this isn't.. LE METH
*Jumps and does a back flip in slow motion, in mid air while upside down he throws it at the wall and proceeds to land on 1 knee with his fist on the ground as the explosion happens, knocking everyone down except him, smoke filters around him as he stands up and brushes a spec of rumble off his shoulder*
The thing where the black guy just walks around to reveal half his face blown off is still worse
>the black guy
Frick off, speedwatcher
Way to ignore his point redditard
I don't watch reddit shows. Fun threads like these making fun of moronic scenes is how I enjoy this shit.
When you didn't even watch the show and just watch scenes on Youtube, your opinion is worth zero.
And yet you watched all of the show and all of BCS and you still can't convincingly defend the moronation of either of those two scenes either.
I don't like the Gus scene either. The this is not meth scene is fine, but why would I defend it, it's not like I get paid to fight for them online.
>The this is not meth scene is fine
It's unironically anime tier.
It's a tv show. If you don't like scripted scenes made for entertainment, turn off the tv and go outside.
I have no problem with wacky scenes in TV. It's when the braindead fans of this show claim it's super serious and realistic when it has dumb shit like this and the Gus two face scene is what grinds my gears.
Sorry, the Black person
>never seen again
>when many situations would have warranted its use
lol
lmao
reddit shit show
>>when many situations would have warranted its use
Name 3 other times it could have been used.
He could've used it on Gus at several points
>He could've used it on Gus at several points
When specifically though? What scene or point in the story would it have been useful and possible?
>i will go to the meth boss of this territory with explosives and blow up his office so i can maybe get some of my money back because he beat up this meth head kid i'm exploiting to help me pay for my bills
>ends up unscathed and actually goes into business with the meth boss
wow mr white is LE SMART big brain SCIENCE YEAH b***h 200iq
>is a much better scene in your path
what show? i see the FX logo so ik its gonna be kino
Justifed
boutta finish the shield gonna add this baby to my watch list frrr
>"Science is so epic"
>Is literally just magic
Every show that does this is midwit. Yes, this includes all your beloved scifi garbage.
>>"Science is so epic"
>>Is literally just magic
This was the movie Paul, a britshit movie about an alien named Paul who debunks dumb creationists with magical healing abilities.
>how did you do that inexplicable magic?
>EVOLUTION BABY!
I was peak fedora atheist when I watched it, and I still thought it was awful.
So you then would have to think every scientist ever to not figure out how gravity works is "midwit"
Hawking, einstein, literally everyone on the planet ever. We don't understand how it works but we can measure and predict it.
Congrats you're a midwit as well.
Is this a bot post? What does that have to with the posts you're replying to?
Holy frick! I don't think I have words to describe how much of an idiot you have to be to not get the point
>posts about science being unexplained in movies being midwid
>most brilliant scientists in real life can't explain lots of things
>anon doesn't see the connection
Congrats you're not a midwit, you're one of the stupidest morons on the planet.
>>anon doesn't see the connection
In the movie Paul, the healing power literally is just touch-magic. Yeah there might be some great wonders that haven't been explained yet, but when the methods of a scientist are essentially inexplicable magic, your argument that geniuses still can't explain gravity is irrelevant.
You literally have autism, severely!
Yeah the movie that's a comedy is going to take 10 minutes to explain the science behind the Vulcan mind meld. But you love star trek probably.
>Yeah the movie that's a comedy is going to take 10 minutes to explain the science behind the Vulcan mind meld. But you love star trek probably.
it's a preachy christianity is le dumb movie. If he magic healed her and said basically nothing, it wouldn't have been annoying, but when he said "that's EVOLUTION, BABY!" that makes it annoying and reddit.
It's cringe for being anti Christian yes, but that part specifically bothering you is peak autismo moronation that I don't understand at all. Plenty of way over the top lines that are cringe, but the one part that could be a correct answer to a question puts you off?
Fricking hell, this website I swear.
>It's cringe for being anti Christian yes, but that part specifically bothering you is peak autismo moronation that I don't understand at all. Plenty of way over the top lines that are cringe, but the one part that could be a correct answer to a question puts you off?
its not tho.
Why would you expect le goofy alien comedy movie to have a nuanced discussion on science and religion?
>Why would you expect le goofy alien comedy movie to have a nuanced discussion on science and religion?
it was cringe in a moronic way.
The Invention of Lying was a much smarter atheism movie.
>le dumb alien fart movie is dumb
Yes?
k
Why would you expect TV writers to have PhDs in Chemistry?
This reminds me of the threads over the years making fun of The Wire. These kinds of threads always crack me up when they're this accurate. "Prestige TV" that has suspension of disbelief on the same level as a shonen manga.
You're gonna see a wire chess thread on the 'log within the hour
>"P-PLOT DEVICE"
>Doesn't really forward the plot in any meaningful way. Just gives Walt a way to grab Tuco's attention
You're just complaining for the sake of complaining, aren't you?
So it's not even a plot device. It's a moronic "epic" scene device.
It's a way to show off to the viewer what Walt can accomplish with Chemistry. Is there a problem with that?
A PLOT device is something that exists to push the PLOT forward. The frick are you talking about?
>A PLOT device is something that exists to push the PLOT forward in a lazy and shitty way
ftfy, what you described is plot
>Doesn't really forward the plot in any meaningful way. Just gives Walt a way to grab Tuco's attention
is the perfect example of a plot device, cheap shitty lazy writing to help the writers out of a corner
>Character is an exceptionally talented chemist
>Uses his skills in Chemistry to synthesize a compound that creates a small explosion to get the attention of a cartel boss
>Said compound actually exists in real life and does in fact explode upon impact
>This is somehow lazy writing
What? It's a good way to show off what Walt can do with Chemistry. Sure maybe it's not 100% accurate to how fulminated mercury behaves in the real-world, but isn't it a bit unreasonable to expect TV writers to have a PhD level understanding of inorganic chemistry?
Based and correct pilled
Kind of makes you wonder who the frick is on this site.
It's truly the toilet of the internet, unfortunately it's the only toilet you can still shit in.
>show touted as being realistic
>here's a magic bomb that can incapacitate a drug lord, destroy an entire floor yet leave me relatively unscathed
Also they had chemistry experts on set you moron. For someone who is defending this cesspool of a show you don't know anything about it
>show touted as being realistic
Since when? No one went into Breaking Bad expecting a Chemistry documentary
>>show touted as being realistic
>Since when?
Since Jesse said, "don't use U-haul storage, because they're onto that. You watch too many movies Walt"
Talk to any BB fan and they'll say that is one the main reasons.
Never heard anyone argue that ever.
Hell, the biggest plot point of can't get methylamine is so confusing to anyone who has ever even seen a chemistry book because it's so easy to make a 5 year old could do it.
They deliberately obfuscated the meth creation process to prevent tards from copying it from the show.
BB fans are moronic then, big surprise
I mean the regular BB fan thinks Walt's a genius level intellect crime lord that sees all outcomes before they even unfold, when in reality he's just larping as one for the majority of the series and actually hurts his drug operation multiple times because of his fragile ego. It's people that saw the 'I am the danger' scene and took it at face value.
And also that the entire plot exists for Better Call Saul
Breaking bad has always had comic book rules. Have you never seen the show??? Any violence is always over the top. All the action is totally over the top. The only time a fight breaks out and isn’t insane is when hank beats the shit out of Jesse
It literally forwards the plot you fricking moron. Before that scene Walt and Jesse were a joke to Tuco and his guys. After that scene Tuco respects him and they become business partners. Do you know what plot is you fricking moron?
>Doesn't really forward the plot in any meaningful way. Just gives Walt a way to grab Tuco's attention
the definition of a plot device, cope harder
Hey. You just blew up my headquarters and disrespected me in front of my whole crew, shook me down and threatened to kill me, and I am a violent impulsive psycho, but let’s work together even though I already have a monopoly on the market!
BRAVO VINCR
Actually pretty realistic. Guys like that only respond to violence.
A bully only backs down when confronted with a bigger bully.
I guess zoomers just suck wiener now and get in trouble if they don't so they don't understand what a bully even is.
>everyone is a zoomer I have nothing in common with just because I was born in the mid 90s and barely a late stage millenial
>I guess zoomers just suck wiener now and get in trouble if they don't
It's funny because it's true.
@174966428
>Holy frick! I don't think I have words to describe how much of an idiot you have to be to not get the point
You could probably use that as a response to virtually any post on any thread on any board of this or any other website, and it would apply just as much. I'm thinking this an ai-generated post.
Since I didn't format my reply with >>, the program shouldn't be triggered by this pot.
Your a special kind of moron you know that?
Checked, but digits don't make you smarter
It's a cool scene. One of the few good scenes in the whole show
I like the charizard one more
all the "badass" walt moments are so cringeworthy and moronic
>"stay out of my territory"
>gets stabbed
ITT: a lot of morons that have never heard of flashbangs before. Look up the Iranian embassy siege you absolute cretinous fricks, and that's 40 year old technology.
here's your flashbang bro
I play call of duty as well so I’m a bit of a /k/ommando myself
>By the way this isn’t…LE METH
>Walter throws the Mercury, followed by a hard drum beat
>Performs a somersault mid-explosion, pulling out twin Desert Eagles
>Fires them in mid-air killing Tuco’s thugs
>Lands on his knees and shoots Tuco twice in the chest before walking up to his dying body
>By the way…I’m the Breaking Bad
>Bang
JESSE WE HAVE TO COOK
>"This is not meth"
>Gus Fring's death
>BO-BO-BO-BO-BO-BONFIRE
The holy trinity of scenes that filtered Cinemaphile. Oddly enough, the magnets scene isn't bashed so frequently here.
>make goofy anime tier scenes in le ebin badass show
>heh heh u got le filtered
C'mon Vince
No one is saying it should be 100% realistic, moron. The fact that the entire floor explodes while Walter only comes out with minor injuries is what people are making fun of.
>noooo it’s not realistic enough!
Let me guess. You voted for Biden.
morons filtered by fantastical elements never fail to amuse me
Just because it's set in modern america and doesn't have elves doesn't mean it's realism level should be 100%
The one major problem with this scene that literally no one addresses is that an unknown person, Walt, walks upstairs to the boss past the hired goons downstairs, makes an explosion and destroys the the room, and walks back downstairs and none of Tucos's hired guns do a single thing. They don't even say a word to him. There was literally a huge explosion and Tuco could be dead upstairs and Walt just waltzes to his car with a bag of money while no one does anything
>blows up from hitting the floor
>the rest doesn't blow up from getting blasted by an explosion
always found this scene moronic
