oh man, did I ever
I like when the guys in Africa are chasing Leonardo and one of them says "you're not dreamin now buddy!"
normies are fricking moronic, it wasn't a dream he had no ring
It also made me cum :3
Good times, such great memories, I had so much hope back then.
She was so cute in this
kissable lips..
forehead*
Thats a man, homosexual
>She
I watched this movie the other day for the first time in years and it actually brought a tear to my eye when she appeared on screen since I'd forgotten her
I could have saved her bros…
Did you assume their pronouns???
Cute man
>you will never grow old with this
Enabling people with surgery and hormones needs to stop.
By Grabthar's Hammer, by the Sons of Warvan, she shall be avenged.
lol imagine having decades of physical, quantifiable evidence of people thinking you are extremely physically attractive as whatever and then just going "nah frick it I wanna be a skinny beta who everyone finds somewhere between repulsive or just lame"
very bad choice.
I thought lucid dreaming was a meme until I did it
>this made Gen X spill mountain dew on their JNCO's
QUIT TALKING SHIT ABOUT JNCO JEANS
>set your movie where literally anything can happen, the world is not expected to be consistent, don't even necessarily have to make it look like the real world like they had to in the Matrix
>"Uhhhhh...the buildings fold over each other, this hallway rotates, and the climax takes place in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Arctic Edition but otherwise it's just like any other action thriller"
Bravo, Nolan
tl;dr
have a nice day
>the climax takes place in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Arctic Edition
It was the map Array from Black Ops. Kino map
That game is full of kino
>”THE NUMBERS MASON, WHAT DO THEY MEAN”
Modern Warfare 2 was the biggest game in the world at the time. that was when Hollywood was getting scared that video games were going to put them out of business.
You underestimate how mundane a normalgay's dreams are. I tell my best friend all about my surreal yet somewhat narratively cohesive dreams of fantastical landscapes and extreme violence and he tells me his about forgetting to study for a test.
>forgetting to study for a test.
fairly typical anxiety dream
I've dreamt I got shot in the head by the police for failing a highschool test more than once
I get those not studying for a test ones alongside really plot-driven kino masterpieces
what if there was a train going down a city street and hitting all the cars

FOCKIN MENTAL INNIT MOITE
ABSOLUTELY MENTAL
OI RECKON THEYRE GONNA GIVE ME A OSCARIDOO FOR THIS ONE
You missed the point then. The thing is about making dreams indistinguishable from reality, or else what would be the point of totems if you're in a fantasy dream world?
This movie was a piss poor Dreamscape. Nolan is a hack.
Don't watch Super in that case...
>This movie was a piss poor Dreamscape
homosexuals like you belong on twatter. Not only is this moronic opinion unoriginal(parroted on plebbit and twatter all the time), it essentially forgets the key plot point of the movie i.e making dreams too fantastical would ruin collapse the dream.
But it show cases broader midwit issue. You morons think weirder imagery = more creative and artistic= thus you're smart for appreciating it more.
This is the kind of simplistic thought process that leads people to praise banal crap like Doctor Strange. "Dude, this is like.....so awesome to watch while high...bro this is art". Kys you goddamn cretins.
Don't make the Nolan fans angry.
No. Nolan peaked with Memento, and has been chasing his clever boy bonafides ever since. Completely incompetent at directing action. Interstellar was a high falutin' take on The Black Hole with a great score though.
>Completely incompetent at directing action.
Jej, Everyone's an expert on action direction these days. Nolan's only weakness is hand to hand choreography.
imagine getting filtered by a nolan movie
>2022
>still filtered by a nolan joint
KWAB
Problem?
that's why I never bothered watching it, didn't seem very imaginative for a movie about dreams.
seems pretty boring for such a wacky concept
>zoomers too dumb to understand the implications of the scene
kek imagine a generation so dumb that a nolan movie goes over their head
That's zoomers you moron
the oldest zoomer on inceptions release was like 12
Yeah it was for kids.......
Sorry kids, but most people watching Inception were teens and adults. All the memes about the movie were made by millennials. At least you have Infinity War.
>most people watching Inception were teens and adults
>Source: Dude trust me
You're not even accounting for torrent downloads moron lmao
>it was for kids
No the frick it wasn't lol. It was the peak teen movie of 2010. You were watching Fanboy and Chum Chum at the time.
Yes. And? Nostalgia typically forms during that age moron.
No, zoomers were too young for Inception.
Zoomers think that just because they were alive for something that makes it theirs. I've seen them try to claim Lord of the Rings and Billy and Mandy when they were literally in diapers for that stuff.
12 is not too young to form nostalgia. You're a deluded moron. You want to think your childhood was more significant.
I was 12 at the time you fricking moron. No zoomer is nostalgic for inception
>the oldest zoomer on inceptions release was like 12
I was 11 and saw it in theaters with my older sister.
Putting aside the fact that your status as a zoomer is debatable, being the exception doesn't make you the norm. You even admit that you watched it with your older sister. I'm sure there were some older millennials who watched Predator as kids but it's still firmly a Gen X movie.
>Putting aside the fact that your status as a zoomer is debatable
1997 is the zoomer start year
Early zoomers are in more of a gray area in my opinion, kind of like how millennials born in the early 80s aren't quite millennials yet. I'm a fan of the terms Xennial and Zillennial. I think they're probably a more accurate way of measuring generational trends because I think the changes are more gradual than happening overnight. I was born in 1992 and I can definitely say my experience as a kid was more similar to my brother born in 98 than someone born in 82.
>I'm sure there were some older millennials who watched Predator as kids but it's still firmly a Gen X movie.
>a movie made by a bunch of baby boomers is a "Gen X movie"
Please just shut the frick up with your generational infighting bullshit
>your status as a zoomer is debatable
I was born in 1999 dude. I'm 23. And we saw it in theaters. Not saying I have any nostalgia for it though, not beyond the Edith Piaf song at least. I never desired to see it again in part because Marion Cotillard really creeped me out.
>I was born in 1999 dude. I'm 23.
Yeah I know. I get more into that in this post
. You're definitely not the kind of zoomer people typically refer to on this site. But even so, I would say you were still a bit too young for Inception. The age I would say that movie was intended for was 15. It is a Christopher Nolan film after all.
>But even so, I would say you were still a bit too young for Inception.
>The age I would say that movie was intended for was 15. It is a Christopher Nolan film after all.
Yeah, the guy who had just put out two Batman movies. For children. If enjoyed Inception as a 15 year old I'd be embarrassed.
The Dark Knight was not for little kids. It was rated PG-13 and was way too gritty for an 8 year old. TDK is millennial, the same way Tim Burton's Batman is Gen X. The zoomer Batman would probably be Brave and the Bold. That was much more aimed at kids.
>The Dark Knight was not for little kids. It was rated PG-13 and was way too gritty for an 8 year old.
I was probably 9 when I saw it and it was fine. Then I watched Tim Burton's Batman immediately after and preferred that, but I was a huge Burtongay as a kid.
TDK wasn't millennial. It was just shit, bandwagoning off the whole bourne series gritty aesthetic. It sucked and nolan sucks in general. Inception sucked. Peak millennial capeshit is spiderman 1 and 2.
The Dark Knight is 100% millennial. Cope zoomer.
Nah. You would have been 18 when it came out. Not a kid.
The most impressionable age for a PG-13. Are you moronic?
I was 16, I was the perfect age for it. Get your own culture zoomie.
>It was just shit, bandwagoning off the whole bourne series gritty aesthetic.
Lel, Bourne? It's aesthetically simar to Heat. Watch more movies homosexual.
>Muh heckin wholsesoms Raimi Spoderman
Cowardly tastes.
What's with the zoomie obsession over Raimi? He hasn't made a single good film for their generation. The sudden surge in love for his past films feels forced.
He's a safe inoffensive filmmaker to like. He mostly makes fun films, so you're not going to be accused of pretension for liking his films but he's also not bottom of the barrel like the MCU. So basically, he's a risk free filmmaker to like for social cred and when asked why you like him, all you have to say is he's fun. Easy.
no millennial is nostalgic for the dark knight, because it was shit and because its look was too much of the gritty bull everyone was ripping around that time. The bland filter and the bland music, all of it shit. It was no better than hulk 2008, which was also shit.
>no millennial is nostalgic for the dark knight
You don't speak for Millennials zoomie. For that generation it's one of the most iconic movies of 2000s.
>no millennial is nostalgic for the dark knight
I am.
I consider Christian Bale to be my Batman, the same way Michael Keaton was Gen X's and Ben Affleck is yours. Why are zoomers so confident in their ignorance?
Inception is millennial. Zoomers trying to claim millennial shit is cringe.
Just took a really good shit. I have either IBS or an undiagnosed gluten intolerance so I get constipated real bad some days and it feels amazing to finally take a massive dump
Kek loser
what do you want me to do
You could try taking care of your body and not being a gross slob.
No
>more zoomer v millennial shitflinging
ill kill all you morons
To be fair it doesn't take much to make me shit my pants.
The behind the scenes clips were amazing
well, if I had known that the movie would be fricking 2-1/2 hours long, I would have made sure to go before sitting down in the theater
Inception was the last gasp of film.
No, that's TeneT
The very scary sound at the end made me poop my pants in theatres, I pooped it more when I heard the theory online about it
I was dreaming not long after this came out and I was being chased through a hotel by men in black suits. The hotel had a massive open atrium, and was many stories high. I remember (from Inception) that killing myself would wake me up, so I jumped from one of the balconies.
An ord men firred with regret waiteen to die arone
Who was Anne Oldman?
2012 was the last year that good movies were made.
God the debates about this were so annoying. It doesn't matter. What matters is Leo didn't care if it was real or not
Just thrown in so people who had a hard time following the movie would go "oooooooooo"
I still don't understand why nobody is allowed to touch your totem
Well, let me ask you this; can I tough your totem?
Because if they get a sense of the weight and texture they can replicate it in your dream and you won't be able to tell if you are dreaming.
what do you not get
>millennials shit their pants
That sounds uncomfortable.
Back before the 1000th Marvel flick and Disney remake.
All of these actors, just living in the moment
vgh, not a twitter in sight
Even though I'm not a millennial, I'm shitting my pants... though not really for that.
>basically a gun shot, cut to black
he rite doh
Never saw it when it came out.
Do the streaming versions credit Ellen as Elliott?
only homosexuals watch credits
Inception at the theater was an experience i'll never forget
