No, he’s correct. Pizza in Italy is trash. It’s like how tacos in Mexico and “tacos” from Taco Bell are completely different things

NY pizza is mostly greasy low quality cheese and one slice has like 1200 calories. Italian pizza is mostly bread.

NY pie is kinda like In N Out. Plebs will say it’s overrated and boring, not understanding it’s meant to be a showcase for solid ingredients, not a flavor bomb. You’d be surprised how “plain” some famous New Orleans gumbo can taste as well, because it too is meant to be a showcase of quality ingredients.

Sly's charisma and lumbering gait was unique at the time. He brought a sense of living life outside of showbiz. Bridges was boring white bread in comparison until he grew a more complex presence into the 90s.

The backstory on this is interesting. It was based on a story in the New York magazine that was supposed to be a true story about dance clubs in Brooklyn but the author had to admit later that it was completely made up because he couldn't find anything interesting to write about in Brooklyn.

Pretty funny, huh. While not quite as depressing, Purple Rain is similar. You think it’s just gonna be Prince acting wacky and singing, instead you get dead serious domestic drama, also with some Prince being wacky and singing.
