ROTJ is the centerpiece of Star Wars
As a kid in the late 80s, Return of the Jedi was the best and most fun one, and still is.
The prequels are just as bad, if not worse, than the sequels and the only reason anyone thinks otherwise is because reddit obsessed zoomers kept pushing prequel memes down everyone's throats
The prequels are far superior to the sequels. Midichlorians aren't even that bad because it at least explains the scientific aspect of the force, and pretty much every living thing consists of it anyways.
I'm a zoomer myself and I don't really like star wars memes at all, but I do love revenge of the sith and even certain aspects of attack of the clones. The phantom menace lightsaber fight is the second best duel in the series next to Vader and Luke's battle in cloud city.

Attack of the Clones is better because it doesn't try as hard. George couldn't deliver on the comedy and even the opera falls short. I appreciate what he was trying to do but it's a sad failure and unwatchable without ANH

George's 6 movies are all fantastic, but AorC will always be the worst.
Attack of the clones is awful in a unique way that none of the other 6 films are, probably because Anakin does nothing nearly the entire movie except simp for padme and obi wan is on a quest of his own to find a bounty hunter. It's just a nothing burger of a movie and feels like filler.

Revenge of the Sith is barely any better than Attack of the Clones. It's a more eventful movie than Attack of the Clones, but it's every bit as unintelligent. I hate almost everything about it.
It's a more eventful movie which makes it a better movie because there's actually shit going on and it isn't boring. Each scene bleeds into the next and isn't a slugfest like clones.
Still the best sci-fi action adventure movie of all time

I think The Rise of Skywalker dethroned Attack of the Clones as the worst Star Wars movie, which I didn't think was even possible because Attack of the Clones is trash on almost every level.

This was the same thought I had when I left the theaters for this one. Before going in I was thinking there's no way this is going to be as bad as AoTC at least. Came out and it was worse.
Rogue One has the battle at the end and some cool Vader scenes and showing the Rebels being desperate and Saw being a killer but the rest of the movie really fricking sucks. The only interesting thing about Jyn is that she died fighting for something and same with Andor. Most of the rebels are just fighting because war is bad.

They fly now and somehow posting have stuck around more than anything from the other movies so there's that going for TRoS.
I actually like McDiarmid's more creepy Emperor performance. His cornball scenery chewing in ROTS is more fun, but TROS's eeriness is a more interesting take on the character to me, even if it's still pretty stock.

cringe contrarian take from Cinemaphile like 7 years back, the new take is RotJ is actually the second best one after empire, sure the ewoks are goofy but they are also well designed and their treehouses are dope, but Tattooine sequence is what the sequels should've been like and the final vader fight with the emperor is the best fight in star wars, vader's redemption still gives me chills as an adult
Vader doesn't even fight the emperor, he just picks him up and throws him. I agree that it was cool, but I wouldn't call it a fight.
Star Wars 1977 is the only 10/10 movie that is rewatchable and doesn't have any homosexual stupid ass lore that the franchise is known for. All you need to know is that there is a bad guy named Darth Vader, an evil fortress called the Death Star, and the Force, a mystical power which helps the wise old sage utilize said power to help the young dashing hero defeat the bad guys and save the day.
ESB is like an 7.5/10
ROTJ is a 7/10
TPM is a 5.5/10
AOTC is like a 2/10
ROTS is like a 6.5/10
and the rest can be discarded right into the fricking trash where it belongs, much like this shit ass franchise.
