I saw this thread and thought >Oh there's a DC animated movie, I should watch that
then I started watching it and realized I had already seen it and forgotten.
I guess it really was boring as frick.
could be because you havent seen it then and youre just remembering the other one with kevin bacon as owl man, they all fade into one amalgam blob to me
Are Tomorrowverse the same people who worked on DCAMU? Tomorrowverse feels almost phoned in depending on which movie they're doing and considering how DCAMU was forcibly ended to make it I can see why
First time in a dozen of years or so that I see a decent looking wonder woman.
No sword or shield, no skirt, no angry face, no movie influence, actually pretty and feminine.
Cool.
Still not going to watch/read anything they make these days
Rush job how? They shuffled some Barry moments around to give him a full character arc, but the main plot only covered the first three issues of the maxi series. The pacing is perfect.
I couldn't sit through it. It wasn't hilariously bad like apokalypse but it was just so scattershot and boring. It kept swapping between three unrelated stories seemingly at random so I cared about none of them.
The animation is seriously the worst I've seen in my entire life. Some of the DCAMU movies were halfway decent and weren't they vaguely popular? Why does DC always have to nuke from orbit any remotely good thing they have going on and replace it with absolute bullshit?
its always been hit and miss, the last good one was the adaption of "and all his engines" city of souls or whatever
Is it just Crisis On Two Earths but worse?
A large chunk of the story revolves around them so yeah, it is.
They're the best part of it.
Ultimately the Flash's role just isn't interesting enough to be the focus of the movie.

thats basically most DC animated movies.
Actually I remember most of the DC animated movies that I've seen fairly well.
could be because you havent seen it then and youre just remembering the other one with kevin bacon as owl man, they all fade into one amalgam blob to me
No I remember the entire plot of that one.
I even remember that it's James woods who voices Owlman not Kevin Bacon.
>I even remember that it's James woods who voices Owlman not Kevin Bacon.
i was gonna make another silly remark but im not even proud of that lmao.
They got their budget slashed.
The comic it's based on wasn't that great to begin with.
>black Iris
As probably the only person who likes Tomorrowverse' artstyle, Tomorrowverse is fricking disappointing. It had potential but was squandered.

Trailer for part 2
They stole a fan’s design for Black Lightning for these movies lmao

Yeah!
Have all of you just never read Crisis on Infinite Earths, then? This was great.
How the hell does this rush job even begin to fit the scope of that maxi series?

>why doesn't part 1 of an explicitly multi part film release adapt the entire story? This is such a rush job wtf
Is this thread about part 1 or 2?
I personally liked part 1, Tomorrow has been cold but overall better than anything else.
But I was hoping part 2 was more focused.
I couldn't sit through it. It wasn't hilariously bad like apokalypse but it was just so scattershot and boring. It kept swapping between three unrelated stories seemingly at random so I cared about none of them.

Dark Knight Returns Part 2 didn't sell so they slashed their budget, and it was downhill from there.
