How'd Vivzie manage to make the songs hit you right in the heart?

I don't know.
A question that has nothing to do with the topic at all: What is your relationship with your father like?
Clearly daddy wasn’t there to take him to the fair.
Honestly this song convinced me that Viv has a GOOD relationship with her father.
This is musical theater though? That's what Broadway is, people expressing themselves musically.
If Viv has a good relationship with her father. Why do all of her characters have daddy issues?
Hell, Viv even has an eight year old video called Daddy Issues.
>Blitzo
His father sold him to a rich family for a day.
>Moxxie
His father was an abusive crime lord, who had killed Moxxie's mother.
>Loona
Doesn't even like to call Blitzo dad.
>Stolas
Distant relationship to his father. Paimon only treated Stolas as an extension of the Goetia legacy.
>Octavia
Feels betrayed by her dad after he got with Blitzo the homewrecker.
>Millie
Doesn't have daddy issues and consequently doesn't have an episode that focuses on her.
I feel like I know more about Viv than I could ever want to. Because she's always so apparent in everything she does.
She likes angst. It's a tumblr thing.
If you've known women with daddy issues or people with issues with their parents in general, it's pretty clear what's going on with Viv and her dad.
If the relationship wasn't super abusive, then when the kid grows up and moves out or goes off for college, a lot of the times that's when the relationship starts mending because the distance gives everyone room to reflect on things and typically the kid realizes
>"My parents were flawed as hell but they were trying and I wasn't the easiest kid to raise."
Vivzie clearly is in that area
Medranno is an imbecile that should have stuck with what she's good at; corny feel good Disney songs.
It's because that's all she fricking practice all day in and out. Animating for songs. They really should teach animators how to tell a fricking story through dialogue. We need writer schools
I think you notice it best with which characters stick out as most enjoyable. Adam, Pentius, Alastor, even Velvette joined their ranks in the 2 minutes of her song. Long story short, she's best at writing and animating the crazy scenery chewing characters
holy crap the second one was so slow paced it looked normal at 2x speed
Lmao notice how there’s gays in the backgrounds of two of these. Viv’s fujo tendencies have been there since day 1.
In animation drawing and writing is the same thing. Hence storyboards.
Yeah well somebody should reteach them that that is clearly not the case. Animators are the dumbest pieces of shits I've ever had the misfortune of working with.
Animators are only good if you want body language and impact and you only do that with at max 4 animators animating 5 minutes worth of animation in the form of Tom & Jerry.
Charlie is literally made for daddy dick.
Lucifer is just Matpat
>Alice in Wonderland, but DeviantArt style.
your daddy issues
>How'd Vivzie manage to make the songs
It's not like she wrote them
viv is pretty good when she actually tries.
it's why season 1 of helluva boss still holds up well
>Closest thing to Christian values in the hell-setting show that celebrates gay anal rape
>Is coincidentally the best scene
Huh...
Wouldn't "Starts with Sorry" be the closest thing to Christian values given it's about repenting?
Having a talented voice cast helps tremendously. Although even then I hated Brightman's performance in Helluva Boss but he's great in this show - genuinely not sure what happened but I'll enjoy it while I can.
