Is there are reason to why CN abandoned this show so quickly? They basically aired it and was done with it in the span of 2 years, while its contemporaries lasted for years and had multiple merchandise and games.
Granted, the positive is that Cow and Chicken didn't suffer a seasonal rot like the rest, but damn I would have loved to see more. episodes, or at least a TV movie. Really surprised that Red Guy didn't show up in Billy and Mandy, considering they shared many of the same staff.

Your mom's a Ren & Stimpy rip-off.

You can tell if a show is a Ren & Stimpy rip-off if that one autistic on Cinemaphile spergs out uncontrollably every time you call it a Ren & Stimpy rip-off.

I don't know, I was going down a list of shitty cartoons that aired on Nickelodeon in the late 90s and figured you liked it. All those shows were shitty.

Shitty rip-offs of better cartoons. Like Ren & Stimpy!

Yeah. Why was Nickelodeon so unoriginal anyway? It's like they used Mad Libs to come up with new cartoon show ideas, using their first three original shows as a template.

It literally was. Disney does the same shit nowadays.

Because it was the shittiest CN show of the time. The other 3 were more innovative and new, as well as having young creators that could work for the network for decades. Feiss was almost 40 when he made C&C.
>Because it was the shittiest CN show of the time.
No it wasn’t. This is such a shit opinion.
>The other 3 were more innovative and new, as well as having young creators that could work for the network for decades.
Ok, more innovative and new, how? In detail, please.
>Feiss was almost 40 when he made C&C.
So he had years of experience in the industry when he made C&C. What’s your fricking point? Age doesn’t matter.
>No it wasn’t. This is such a shit opinion.
It really was. Dexter, Johnny Bravo, PPG and Ed Edd n Eddy were airing during it’s run, and they are all superior shows. > Ok, more innovative and new, how?
Kid with science and iventions, guy tries to get laid. Cute girl superheroes with focus on action and plots vs derivative. 3 boys scaming vs Ren and Stimpy clone. >So he had years of experience in the industry when he made C&C. What’s your fricking point?
People younger than him made far better shows. Hell, even Maxwell Atoms who worked for him made a far better and successful show.
>Dexter, Johnny Bravo, PPG and Ed Edd n Eddy
If I remember, PPG and EEnE came later after Cow & Chicken ended its production run. I.M. Weasel was spun off around this time, though.
I loved this show as a kid. I rewatched it a few years ago and I still found it pretty funny. I really don't get all the hate it got recently out of nowhere.
Which one did Cinemaphile prefer. Angry Beavers or I Am Weasel? These shows were in direct competion back in the late 90s and share many similairites. >both debuted in 1997 >2 animals, one being big hot shot while other is loser who nobody likes in-universe, but fans prefer him since he's funnier >over the top plots and surrealism >characters have different jobs and can be in different time periods from episode to episode >near identical finales, with shows realizing they were a cartoon all along and breaks the fourth wall >talked shit about each other >share many celebrity voice actors
Which one was better?
Atoms posted Cow & Chicken storyboards on his Instagram >C&C was all about about speed! and butts
Even he knew it was too fast-paced and filled with toilet humor.
Despite the fact that I liked the show there was this one character that tended to put me on edge!
It was Sailcat and it might have been due to the fact that it's limbs were arkward
and it got hit by a truck which kind of makes it dead?
I think it was fine. This show was only good in short doses. I watched it when it was on TV, but I wouldn't have liked to watch many episodes of it in a row.
Will Buffalo Gals ever air on TV again?
Never again. I’m not even sure it aired overseas.
>Quantitygay
>Augie Dogie
You’re both fricking cancers.
They can't be serious
They are so dumb that they take jokes seriously.
People trying to get the show cancelled would be a better outcome than this
It was alright. It's kind of a third rate Ren & Stimpy, though at least it's better than the R&S rip-offs that were on Nickelodeon (other than Rocko).
>the R&S rip-offs that were on Nickelodeon (other than Rocko).
Rocko wasn’t an R&S ripoff, you moron. Neither was Catdog or Angry Beavers.
Sure they weren't. Whatever you need to tell yourself.
You’re an idiot if you think any of those shows ripped off R&S.
Not as much as Spongebob did.
SpongeBob isn’t a R&S ripoff either, you mong.
Surrrre it isn't.
Because it isn’t.
It should be called Underwater Ren & Stimpy.
You should take your meds, schizo.
Ren & Stimpy rip-offs ranked from best to worst:
1. 2 Stupid Dogs
2. Dexter's Laboratory
3. Rocko's Modern Life
4. Cow and Chicken
5. CatDog
6. Angry Beavers
7. Spongebob Squarepants
8. Schnookums and Meat

The opening song was a banger.

Quantitygay?
it was grotesque and weird what did you expect to happen?
Because it was the shittiest CN show of the time. The other 3 were more innovative and new, as well as having young creators that could work for the network for decades. Feiss was almost 40 when he made C&C.

People younger than him made far better shows. Hell, even Maxwell Atoms who worked for him made a far better and successful show.
PPG is boring half the time
Dexter and PPG went through seasonal rot. Johnny Bravo lost its creator and was heavily retooled: basically two different shows with the same name.
>Dexter, Johnny Bravo, PPG and Ed Edd n Eddy
If I remember, PPG and EEnE came later after Cow & Chicken ended its production run. I.M. Weasel was spun off around this time, though.
I.B. Red Guy should've been an actual spin off.
Your opinions belong in the toilet you drink out of.
I like IM Weasel more
I never cared for I M Weasel, besides the baboon was far more entertaining than him.
That and the Red Guy, though he was the best thing in Cow & Chicken too.
Spumco wannabe drivel was the beanmouth of the 90s
Kys
yeah but at least Spumco wannabe shows tended to have actual animation in them, unlike modern cartoons
I loved this show as a kid. I rewatched it a few years ago and I still found it pretty funny. I really don't get all the hate it got recently out of nowhere.
¡SUPERCOW AL RESCATE!
I thought it was fricked up rather than hilarious, but then, I may have missed the joke. Was it hilarious BECAUSE it was fricked up?
Timon and Pumbaa outlived it
What the frick was his problem
he was horny

I remember the scene parodying "Angry Beavers" in "I am Weasel", but when Angry Beavers did the same
I like how Mom and Dad were only lower torsos and the show barely even tried to hide the fact that they were.
So is catDog.
Fight me.
HELLOOOOOOOO
Atoms posted Cow & Chicken storyboards on his Instagram

Even he knew it was too fast-paced and filled with toilet humor.
He didn’t mean that in a bad way. Guess what other cartoon was fast-paced and filled with toilet humor? Billy and Mandy.
The show is pretty beloved
Charlie Adler makes a pretty penny doing Cow, Chicken, and Red Guy bits on Cameo
Too bad he went /misc/ schizo and retired from voice acting.
He still does some voice acting, but he’s mostly been busy as a voice director for the past two decades or so.
firstly, he was always a little... off. That's the price you pay with true artists.
secondly pretty sure he's a flaaaaming 'mo.
Despite the fact that I liked the show there was this one character that tended to put me on edge!

underrated as hell show. Red Guy is one of the funniest characters ever
