I want to say, during this spew of AT threads, frick this show so hard. It's such hot garbage, and it managed to frick Western Animation hard.
It's a show that started as lolsorandom that got popular and decided to dedicate itself to becoming pretentious as hell. There are people who unironically think this show is deep and symbolic.
It started the careers of so many cancerous influences due to Pendleton Ward hiring friends and morons who thankfully hijacked his show to run it further into the ground. It popularized shit like noodlearms, low effort art styles, and Millennial writing (if you know the writing style, you know Adventure Time exported it to everywhere). And let's not ignore the shipping autism that needs no introduction.

It's a very influential show. In my opinion, western animation was always doomed. If it wasn't Adventure Time, it would have been something else sending us down this path. Let's just enjoy the few good shows we get and not dwell too much on the destruction of a once beautiful medium.
Pretty much. There's no one show that made today's cartoons terrible. Cartoons are terrible because they're all cheaply made and aimed at stupid babies. And the reason for this is because they stopped trying after shit like Power Rangers and Pokemon proved it kids were dumb and would watch any cheap garbage.
