        >everyone was on the hype train
...because they hated owl house. Now that that show is gone and a new brown waifu has entered the scene people ditched this show super quick, besides the two or three gays who still shill it

You can't actually put the waifubait with the guy until the very end because morons need to think she's obtainable. Once that obtainable status is gone, the incel gets mad and turns on the show.

It's not that spectacular. It isn't necessarily bad, but its a very by the numbers kid show. At least from what I've watched of it. That's fine for a child audience, but doesn't actually give much for the older online audience to latch onto and build a big fanbase out of. It's just a simply "okay" show. There really isn't a lot to talk about outside of people waifuing the characters.

Is it just one guy spamming these threads? The episodes this week weren't even that bad other than the ugly design of Andrea's girlfriend.

I honestly wouldn’t mind a gay Andrea, but frick man pair her with someone better other than some poorly designed OC. That’s another thing too. It’s strange how bad her design because character design (along with animation) is one thing the show get 100 percent right. The frick happened? Did they let an intern design for the show

S1 was very good, funny and straight to the point.
S2 feels like a string of experimental episode binded together without a cohesive theme, narrative apart from the mystery about scratch's past and the aimless purpose of the ghost world because they killed the Chairman too early. There isn't really any driving conflict and something the story isn't as charming anymore.
Frankly, I don't know what they were planning with this season. It doesn't feel like it's enjoyable, but it's still well animated at least.

You know what considering how good the animation is (which is also expensive) and considering the recent layoffs and cancellations over at Disney in the post pandemic period, I would be surprised if the showrunners were caught blindsided when Disney told them only two seasons, so they scrambled trying to fit everything into one season

It's a little too early to say that, but I am mildly disappointed with the show. It flanderized its characters too soon, and it feels like it is constantly pulling its punches with its premise. It's an odd couple setup, I expect more confrontation. But we're dealing with modern Disney.
It's also not just the show itself, but the context in which it exists. Most Disney shows are feeling very samey right now. Despite its excellent production values, it can't distinguish itself enough to pull away.
Surprisingly, for me the only show that is regularly entertaining and isn't drenched in that weird modern Disney smarmyness is Kiff, and I suspect the creators being from South Africa rather than from the west coast circle of animators is a big factor.

Moon Girl is great too. Real stakes.
