I'm convinced everyone shitting on this movie is just being a Cinemaphilentrarian homosexual. Loved the animation, loved the characterization of the turtles (they actually managed to make Leo's crush on April cute instead of obnoxious like Donnie in 2012), loved the action, loved everything about it. Superfly was a great villain.
>For several days Cinemaphile has been having a b***hfit over Dplinter being a homosexual
>The character that Splinter ends up with is several times stated to be a women
I know Cinemaphile being moronic shouldn't surprise me but everytime it does.
>Superfly was a great villain.
He was not. At all.
I disagree.
he was fine. Ice Cube's vocal-performance, and them allowing the character to say words like "pissed" definitely carried the character
>OH MY GOD I LOVE SETH ROGEN MOVIES SO MUCH FR FR NO CAP ON MY WIFE'S KID!!!!
>ifunny watermark
I deliberately select ifunny images to make the quality of threads worse.
>ifunny
tell me you joined post 2020 without telling me
Sure is summer in here, amiright?
It's funny you say that, I actually typically dislike Seth Rogan. His dude weed lmao shtick tires me. But this movie surprised me. It's great.
>ifunny
homosexual.
Also a broken clock is right twice a day.
Though before the movie played for some reason there was this video that was Seth Rogan thanking the audience and to enjoy the show as "fans like you help support him". My friend leaned over and told me "Damn, now I feel bad" which gave me a chuckle.
Why are you so miserable that you have to mock people for enjoying a movie. What did someone make fun of you on here before and now you want to do the same to others? You got nothing better to do on a Friday other then try to derail a small thread of a couple of anons who like this movie. Do you feel good about yourself when you post an Ifunny reaction image.
A normalgay's suffering is my joy. Of course there's other things that make me happy though. That cat is pretty funny.
You don't understand. That anon is making a profound statement on the consumerist culture that plagues western civilization. I'm just kidding. That's what he probably thinks, but in reality, he's just moronic and won't let go of a shitty meme that was never even funny when it debuted three years ago.
>bitches about contrarianism
>EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS MOVIE IS GREAT BECAUSE EVERYONE SAID IT WAS BAD
Stop projecting. It was bad because it was poorly made, poorly written, and poorly conceived by people who don't understand the TMNT as anything but a cheap toy commercial for mentally stunted children like Seth Rogen.
>BECAUSE EVERYONE SAID IT WAS BAD
Anon? It's gotten amazing reviews.
Go check the actual reviews. 7/10 and 3/5 is average at best, slanted for studio bias and general homosexualry, so they movie can have a "99% FRESH!" sticker slapped on all its marketing material.
Don't tell me you still trust rotten tomatoes.
>IT WAS WELL RECEIVED SO IT'S GOOD Cinemaphile ARE JUST CONTRARIANS
God, shut the frick up. You sound just like the limp-wristed homosexuals who try to defend Spider-Verse. This just fully confirms that most people who defend these new movies are just paid shills.
Well, if nothing else I respect your ability to completely change your angle on the fly.
What?
He thinks he's talking to one anon and he's clearly not very bright to begin with.
>loved the characterization of the turtles
They felt like actual teenagers to an extent I don't think this series has pulled off before; a huge part of it was the casting but the voice director also let them act like teenagers. Too many things cast kids but then give the actors dialogue that doesn't sound like a teenager. This didn't do that.
How much time do you spend around teenagers, anon?
nta but I watched this movie with my 15 year old brother and he said he liked the characters, so I assume the characterization were roughly accurate
maybe I'll watch it on the airplane on the way to japan in a few months
This movie is every stylistic thing that I loved rolled into one. Frick Spider-Verse. Inject Mutant Mayhem into my veins.
No. The other mutants were pointless, Superfly sucked, the high school BS ending sucked. Just no.
Nah.
Yeah.
Nah.
unlike Spider-Man, the turtles are beyond school.
I haven't watched any of these movies, I don't even remember the live action ones
Pretty easy to be better than a hyper predictable movie that somehow got split into two parts despite not having the content for it.
it's better than Across the Spider-Verse. that one drags on for too long, with a weak 3rd act (it being a "Part 1" movie isn't an excuse). Into the Spider-Verse still reigns supreme.
>it being a "Part 1" movie isn't an excuse
they really should've kept this title, I don't care how many marketing-executives it would've pissed off
I don't want to have to pretend to hate a movie just because they turned a character black.
You can hate it for being made by Seth Rogen and his homosexualy friends, like a sane person.
What isn't?
>new yorkers helping turtles defeat BBEG
Love that shit
frick yeah bro
Donnie using his weeaboo knowledge of Attack on Titan to defeat him was funny
Turtles do be beatin up that spiderman homosexual
it doesn't rely on a mutiverse to be good, so i will give it that
Post YFW Shredder
It was expected.
What I want to ask is what are the chances this b***h is Krang?
I want to have sex with her
Setting the bar really low here, eh?
Don't care; ruined April = not watching.
I can’t wait for a couple weeks of this getting enough positive word of mouth that this site has to completely flip to hating it all along just like Spider Verse
Before release all we got was Cinemaphile morons posting Rotten Tomatoes scores. Then the movie actually came out and Cinemaphile was slanted quite hard towards the movie being total-shit-to-mediocre-at-best. Couple days later and now the contrarian homosexuals are throwing more fuel on the fire.
Liking the characters and "felt like actual teens" aren't the same thing.
anon if a teenager liked teen characters who were specifically made to be relatable for teenagers then maybe just maybe they felt like actual teens
It only means they liked the characters. Teens are capable of liking things that aren't exactly like them or things that are not 100% true to life.
I though both spinderverse and this movie was bad.
