I chose to become vegan years ago after a spiritual awakening and dealing with horrible animal abuse I committed in my traumatized childhood. It’s a spiritual practice for me, not a political statement. It’s something very special to me because of my past and things I can’t undo. It would sully it to involve anyone else’s choices in life.
