Buffy is mainly remembered for how outstanding it handled character development. To this day there are not many shows that come close in that department. It´s cinematography was also quite good for television too. Both these things forced everyone to do better but the truth is everything about the show was great. The way real life issues were reflected and balanced by the supernatural elements of the show, the way it normalized building up season arcs and off course all the girls were hot.
Buffy was not even the hottest girl on her own show albeit on S04 she may have been on the top 5. But seriously, every single one of the girl was worth falling in love with. Faith ruined a whole generation.
