In fairness, all Godzilla movies have the worst pacing, more than any other franchise.
I watched it because I watch all Godzilla. It was just nothing. Nothing at all. Things happen, things don't happen, it's a movie where you're supposed to feel things instead of think about them. But if you're familiar at all with Japanese media, you've seen this story a hundred times already.
