I don't like what Joss did with Cap.
Cap was ok in his 1st movie
corny AF with an ugly costume in the first Avengers movie
Was a much better character in Winter Solider
Then back to annoying AF Hall Monitor in Ultron
And cool again in Civil War
He also gave Black Widow a soccer mom haircut in both avengers movies
Was this the only time Cap genuinely felt like a man out of time? Every other instance I can think of played more like audience reminders than actualky character driven.
Yes, you're correct. In reality Captain America would be a much, much more melancholic character, and almost completely incompatible with the people around him.
If anything, he would slowly drift towards a character like Rorschach in terms of worldviews.
i thought it was a huge missed opportunity to not have him yell at rhodey that "we would've hung you up by a tree in my day, boy!" when rhodey arrests him in civil war.
I've actually went through the trouble of researching the people behind so called millennial writing and the vast majority are either gen x or boomers.
The indie scene has more millenial involvement but those films are usually a lot more experimental and not in the "orange slices" quip territory.

The only recent mainstream movie I can think of off the top of my head that was written/directed by someone under 40 is Turning Red. Everything else is made by boomers and xoomers. Millennials (especially white male millennials) don't have much pull in Hollywood today.

best black widow hairstyle was long straight hair in winter soldier, then the mom cut in whedon avengers, then the model hair style in iron man 2 and at the bottom the blonde hair from infinity war.

How was he corny? He's just out of time interacting with others and Joss managed to do it without clowning him too much. His costume i agree
Yes they did. I miss them so much
Wait. except for the Hulk. Smart Hulk caused me to despise the character. The look, how he acted, everything was just terrible.
Look I hate Marvel movies as much as anyone here but that was a good line. In line with Captain America's character but not in an outdated way. Shows his beliefs but is quickly followed by light humour to avoid making the scene too serious.
Out of all the tinfoil conspiracy theories, it's the one that makes the most sense to me, taking everything into account. There is a surprising amount of overlap between the different religions specifically when it comes to potential extraterrestrial involvement.

I still don't get how people kissed the ground he walked on for so many years. Crazy. I've only liked a few of his things, but even those have issues.
I am still surprised Agents of Shield was so good for so long(up until the last 2ish seasons anyway) But I think his brother wrote most of that
God damn joss whedon is a fricking homosexual
Yes. Yes he is. He loves having his actors say ma'am in all his movies. It's kind of creepy
Captain America saying ma'am is in character
Yes Ma'am
That costume looked so fricking moronic. Who the frick thought that shit looked good?
You moronic
You are, in fact, the one who is moronic!
Who did he say this to again?
Black Widow when she told him to sit this one out because they(Thor) are basically Gods

QRD?
Iron Man quoted the bible in this movie
Imagine that on current mcu
Didn't Ultron do it in the second one? I thought Joss was israeli?
he's anglo but athiest.
Huh. Thank you. I learn something new everyday
explains why he’s the face of millennial writing
Joss Whedon is a literal baby boomer.

>there's only one gender that dresses like that, and it's not you "mam"
Did Raimi cowrite some spots?

the blonde was my least favorite for sure

The Russos handled all of the characters better t b h

Uhm, sorry sweety, but Captain America is an atheist now

Would you really still think everything in the Bible was true if you met Thor?
Yes
Thor and the rest of the gods in all of religion are just aliens. Marvel got that right.
Makes sense
Especially when there are so many different ones people have believed over the years

>Would you really still believe the bible if it was proven false?
Have you ever met a christian?
>Would you really still think everything in the Bible was true if you met Thor?
Yeah that would 100% confirm my beliefs
You wouldn't think it's strange that there's no mention of Norse gods or infinity stones?

>gets angry when call him He
