hidan was making kakashi sweat (a kakashi who has sharingan) but shikamaru after reading and playing shogi for 3 days (yeah literally 3 days) suddenly can not only keep up with hidan but actually outclass him in taijutsu. maybe if he read and played shogi for 7 days instead he could have beaten madara
kakuzu, who has 100+ years experience, says he isn't going to fall for the same trick twice (trusting naruto is the real one but turns out to be a clone) and attacks at distance because he saw naruto is medium-short distance ninja by his own words, to then ignores all what he just had said in the previous panel and falls not just twice, but thrice for the same strategy
