The action scenes are better, some of the best in bond.
The helicopter stunts are fricking insane, that's why I like Moore's Bond behind the dumbest audio edit there's always extreme stunts and violence.
Movie reviewers began to complain that Bond was over reliant on gadgets and grand special effects, so they grounded OO7 for the next instalment. We also get to see a more darker Moore.
All of the 80's Bond movies are kino. Yes all of them.
No other sociopolitical era has meshed so well with the core tenets of the franchise since the 60's and after the collapse the USSR, never will again. Goldeneye came the closest since it's centered around the fallout of the end of the Cold War.
Octopussy is a cool film let down by shit like the tarzan call, gorilla suit, telling the tiger to sit and the fricking hot air balloon. I don't even mind Bond disguised as a clown or the Croc sub.
None of those nitpicks bother me in the slightest, it has great villains, Maud Adams is excellent, the screenplay is by the man who created Flashman. It's an all time high for the franchise
Roger Moore in the Man With the Golden Gun is meaner than Connery ever was. Not only does he smack a woman around repeatedly, he fricks that same women while making another b***h hide in the closet listening. Then when that women dies he doesn't give a shit. On top of all that, he tosses a child out of a speeding boat, threatens to shoot a man's testicles off, and puts a midget in a cage.
it would have been better if Roger Moore didn't look like my lesbian grandmother, but Walken and Jones make it fun. And Tanya Roberts, unintentionally.
i disagree vehemently but i respect your appreciation of the camp Moore films
pre credits scene makes you believe you are about to experience more comfy campy kino and then it turns into whatever this shit was
it's more down to earth, gritkino. Moore's best after Spy Who Loved Me
>Comfy non moronic low stakes plot
>Unironically best car chase
>Coldest kill
>Bond actually has morals
>"That's detente comrade"
KINO
Bill Conti's score is KINO

FYEO is a great Bond film.
For Your Eyes Only is Moore's best, and one of the best of the whole series
>For Your Eyes Only is Moore's best
ahem
Kino
Lower quality moonraker.
lol
lmao
cringe
Moonraker was half of a good film.
Arguably two good halves that were, unfortunately, combined...
moonraker is a low quality thunderball
And Thunderball is just low quality
too many underwater scenes
Moonraker is a remake of The Spy Who Loved Me which is a remake of You Only Live Twice, all three directed by Lewis Gilbert
>here's your henchman bro
Jaws starts of great then becomes a goofball throughout the movie. Him biting the shark is kino though.
BABY YOU'RE THE BEEEESSSSSTTT

It's not as good as its reputation suggests. The stuntwork is incredible, but the direction is a bit dull.
I'd buy her an ice cream if you know what I mean
she was 21 years old you sick frick
she was gagging for it, roger should've been all over that, who cares if he was 60
You wanted a movie that went BIGGER than
'Moonraker'?
golden gun is easily the best moore
It was a nice change of pace after the previous two movies were literally the same story.
It's better than Moonraker, but not as good as Octopussy the most underrated Bond film
Octopussy is a cool film let down by shit like the tarzan call, gorilla suit, telling the tiger to sit and the fricking hot air balloon. I don't even mind Bond disguised as a clown or the Croc sub.

everything after connery was a letdown. Do the other bonds even smack women?

Well shit anon, now I gotta marathon his 007 movies
awww yiss Moore Black folk lets goooooo
I agree. It's so boring despite having so many set pieces. And those fricking scenes with the figure skater, Jesus.
This is the movie where Moore started looking old/his age
I honestly can't give even a single Moore flick anything higher than a 6. The Spy Who Loved Me is still the best song though.
I honestly can't give Moore's flicks anything lower than a 6. Even Moonraker, his worst, is a 6/10
>dude forgetting a view to a kill
that one is a 7/10
Walken and Grace Jones are great
dude it's easily a 5 no more
it would have been better if Roger Moore didn't look like my lesbian grandmother, but Walken and Jones make it fun. And Tanya Roberts, unintentionally.
John glen is the worst bond director and it's not even close
