This was the most visually appealing movie I’ve ever seen. Please god I need more like this.

Really…no one?
To Live And Die In LA
All Mann Kinos
I don’t remember Heat being this beautiful, but I’ll rewatch. Thief any good?
Thief
Heat
Miami Vice
Collateral
LA Takedown
Forrest Gump
Sorcerer
The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover
In general Friedkin and Greenaway produced some kinos
>The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover
How is that like Manhunter? It's also a shit homosexual movie
Its visually appealing you philistine. Never post in the same thread as me again.
Greenaway is a moronic pseud homosexual. Just like you
Very low IQ post. He is probably Britain's finest living film maker and his obscurity is a crime perpetrated by the midwits at the BBC.
He’s contributing to the thread; you are not. Go be new somewhere else
Go suck a wiener somewhere else
Thief and it's even much better. Mann's best in fact
The Chad's Thomas Harris adaptation of choice.
Mishima: a life in four chapters
The seething chud in this thread wouldn't get it...
Now there's a good film none of that Greenaway crap
>Wild Palms
>Revolver
What do you find visually appealing about Mann?
Manhunter felt like an 80’s synthwave fever dream and I fricking loved every second of it. The colors, the insanely weird buildings and sets (the mental hopsital being this weird white sterile building with zig zagging stairs) and the music are everything I love.
Will's panic attack when leaving the mental hospital was the most realistic panic attack I've seen depicted on screen. Manhunters Hannibal is also better than Hopkins and the best parts of Hopkins' portrayal were clearly inspired by it.
nah this movie is ruined by the orange and teal
Don't watch this then if color grading bothers you.
anything photographed by Jordan Cronenweth
yeah everyone goes on about Blade Runner
but have have a look at his other films like State of Grace and Cutter's Way
also he was the initial cinematographer on Buckaroo Banzai but was replaced by the shyster producer, he did at least shoot the Arties Artery scene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MF_Ed1pt_WA
To Live and Die in LA
maybe Thief
Music was a bit much in this one. Usually it works, but for this one it was to its detriment.
Point Blank (1967), it's a kaleidoscopic revenge thriller set in a modernist dreamlike LA and is yet another film that would fly right over our little chuddies head.
that intro
So good. A film begging to be watched on some Swedish furniture in a conversation pit.
sucks
The Keep looks amazing.
It's great, isn't it. I must watch Manhunter every 2 months. Good soundtrack too.
Another visually striking film -- though not necessarily appealing -- is THE DEVILS (1971).
