    This shit is genuinely DOA. I have no idea why didn't just make a redo of the original story like the Burton one. There was a stage play a couple years back which told a more "modern" version of the story, and it wasn't complete shit and even with had some unique spins on the usual formula. Why couldn't they just do something like that?
