I don't think that would've gone very well. Patrice had his own internet sketch show. There's a reason everyone doesn't know about it enough to quote like his radio appearances, and it ain't heckin black erasure. Otto's Pig Roast was better put together.

Anthony and Patrice were a great combo. Same with Anthony and Norton. Ant knew all the shit you needed to do to run a show he just hated doing it and Opie enjoyed doing it.
Patrice's other stuff outside of standup never went well because they were just things to do and means to sell more tickets which he was an awful self marketer.
Ant and Jimmy being around him more often on a day to day basis might have kept him more motivated.

Anthony to his credit has good chemistry with most people. He knows how to sit back and let them do their thing when needed and chimes in at the best moments with impeccable comedic timing.
Opie's biggest issue was he didn't have the humility to let the people around him do shine and enhance them in his own way. Granted he had his moments of being funny he also was very needy about.

opie and anthony were both grating & and insufferable, and the only bits of their show I've ever been able to get through are when they had a good comedian on who carried the conversation. i have no idea how they have/had such a massive fanbase.
Prime O&A was with in studio comics. They went through a lot of phases like all children of the 80s, but those were the best years. Jocktober is as funny as it’s every been since they all have sad broadcasts now.
2011-2014 was kino. Opie started sounding beaten down by life, and he realized his show was really slipping away from him.
