>She doesn't move merch, but she should start showing up at least in the mobile game shit.
How do you know when merch of her hasn't been made since the movie came out?
I wouldn't mind them repping Indiana Jones in DHBM, but I will continue to hold the line against Marvel and Star Wars leaking into anything with Mickey in it.
This.

Kingdom Hearts, easily. Smaller answers would be OUAT, anything from Fox, or any of their recent movies that haven't been repped by Pixar.
>What is the SMALLEST disney Cinemaphile property repped.
Probably stuff from ABC.
Has James and the Giant Peach, the Black Hole, or Return To Oz been referenced in any of these games?
DHBM has Giant Peach and Tarzan stuff as badges, and if you squint really hard, you'll probably find Black Hole references.
And everyone stopped being upset about that blatantly insane move and everyone who lost their jobs when they still released the gayfest Nimona. Because that's what mattered, was it going to be gone forever??? Oh no! Oh wait here it is, best film of the year, thank you Disney for not cancelling it!! Who is Blue Sky again?
Um sweatie Star Command was for chuds. Go watch Lightyear and its diverse cast only on Disney+ and then buy all Sox merchandise off the shelves at Disney store please.
YES! Thank you! Thought I was the only one who complained about that too.
They've added practically every piece of Star Wars media into theirs games like Magic Kingdoms and Disney Emojis from their movies, shows and characters and now they're adding Fox own IPs like Titanic and Ice Age, and Golden Girls is a Touchstone own IP which Disney also own into their app games. But are completely ignoring theirs DTVA shows. Example in Emoji Blitz the only DTVA shows that have been included so far are The Proud Family and Kim Possible and also Angel from Lilo and Stitch: the Series. While there's a whole list of others Disney Animated Shows that can also added into Emoji Blitz.

See, I'd argue that once the Disney movie was made that pretty much stopped being connected to Marvel and its universe at all and just became its own thing.

Honey Lemon looks way cuter here than she does in the actual series.
Nta, but the sequels are very fun and inventive. Especially the first two sequels. I like the new characters like Ellie and her opossum brothers who debuted in the second film. And I think this game does mention the sequel characters. So they’ll likely add them in a future update.
I'm surprised they haven't done it before.
They are VERY reluctant with crossovers for some reasons, there must be some mandate that dictate each brand should stay on his own.
Back when Disney got Marvel i was sure they would make crossovers with the classic Disney's characters but it has been more than a decade now and we got nothing, Same with Fox, they did a Predator vs Wolverine comic (which is a pretty logical crossover) but that's about it as far as i know.
If it was up to me i would have already added Anastasia to the Princess' line-up, everyone was considering her as such anyways even before the acquisition.
Disney Princesses are DISNEY Princesses, they can't just use any random schmuck from some studio they bought.
I just wanted to point out how reluctant they are to do crossovers, Anastasia was just a random example like the other i typed, didn't expected to trigger someone with it. Also i admit i'm not very versed in what should or shouldn't be a Disney princess because i'm not a homosexual and i lack autism.
forgot to add: for some reason they do this with the TCGs, they could have put everything under Lorcana instead they decided to also make Star Wars and Marvel cards. And i'm not saying this doesn't make sense because if i only care about Star Wars why would i also collect Aladdin cards - but Lorcana already covers different brands i don't see why it shouldn't cover every brand they have.
Are any of the current 13 official Disney Princesses from a non-Disney movie?
At most you could say Merida, but by then, Pixar had already been under the Disney umbrella for 6 years, Brave is a Disney movie.
>Disney is Pixar
As you said, we know that wasn't always the case. Even back then people considered the idea of adding Merida to the line up as absurd because "She looks too different from the rest, she would stand out" Wait and eventually Disney will have to scrap the bottom of the barrel and remake Anastasia, and if that shit ends up being even moderately successful we know Disney will add their logo to the Disney+ release of 2D Anastasia and pretend it was their movie all along similar to how The Nightmare Before Christmas was upgraded to a proper Disney property after release and not just another movie they produced and published through Touchstone Pictures. Hell, when you click on the Anastasia movie on Disney+ it already suggests you to also watch other classic 2D reinassance Disney films. There IS a synergy.
>As you said, we know that wasn't always the case. Even back then people considered the idea of adding Merida to the line up as absurd because "She looks too different from the rest, she would stand out"
Yes, but like I said, Brave is still at the end of the day a Disney movie, by that point, everything Pixar made fell under the Disney umbrella.
Anastasia was made years before that, sure it was acquired by Disney, but it wasn't made under the Disney umbrella, surely you can tell the difference. >Wait and eventually Disney will have to scrap the bottom of the barrel and remake Anastasia
Like I said, live-action doesn't really count for their Disney Princess brand, unless it's an adaptation of something that's already part of the brand. >similar to how The Nightmare Before Christmas was upgraded to a proper Disney property after release and not just another movie they produced and published through Touchstone Pictures
Yeah, and then they added Sally to the Disney Princess brand.
No, they fricking didn't, you're comparing apples to oranges, Anastasia isn't like the Nightmare Before Christmas. >Hell, when you click on the Anastasia movie on Disney+ it already suggests you to also watch other classic 2D reinassance Disney films. There IS a synergy.
Woah, they suggest similar movies? Woah, what a novel idea, it still doesn't mean shit when it comes to the actual Disney Princess brand that Disney promotes.
Disney+ also suggests the DTV movies next to the originals, but Disney doesn't really acknowledge those anymore, suggestions in Disney+ don't mean as much as you might think.
> if that shit ends up being even moderately successful
Not necessarily that case. Frozen was incredebly successful but they never tied the brand to the princess.

That's because Frozen itself is a strong enough brand to stand on its own, Disney doesn't need to tie Elsa and/or Anna into the Disney Princesses.
They get to be with the group sometimes like that shitty Ralph sequel, but they're a separate brand overall.

>That's because Frozen itself is a strong enough brand to stand on its own
Not anymore. Frozen 2 being a White Guilt movie (Elsa and Anna's ancestor doing something bad to some Non Whites) honestly hurt the brand power of Frozen. The movie sold well at the box office due to the first move's fame (exactly like how Incredibles 2 sold well). However the merchandise of Frozen 2 now that is how you know customers were disappointed, the sales were not grand.
And Frozen 3 and 4 are bound to be future disappointments. By now modern audiences understand that Disney Sequels are soulless shit. And they will be less inclined to give Disney a chance. Especially when you remember audiences right now hate Disney for their politics and agendas. Frozen is a damaged brand. Can't say for sure it's dying but it's definitively hurt given the current situation.
>They're doing it with Merida
As mentioned earlier, Brave is still a Disney movie, she's the token Pixar Princess, an exception, not a rule. >Elena of Avalor is the only one.
You forgot Sofia the First too, and of course any minor princesses from all their animated shows. >Elsa's a queen in-universe, so she shouldn't even be one.
She and Anna both become queens, but they also both start as princesses, which would definitely make them count if Disney wanted.
>Back when Disney got Marvel i was sure they would make crossovers with the classic Disney's characters but it has been more than a decade now and we got nothing
They're actually doing a Donald Duck remake of Old Man Logan this summer.
Disney is already peak souless, especially after their 100 anniversary movie turned out to be Wish. Would it be that bad if Anastasia suddenly started appearing in their Princess group photos? What if Disney simply just remaked Anastasia as part of their live action remakes?
No, but Disney clearly has a way of choosing which characters are part of the Disney Princess brand, otherwise, you'd have every female ever as part of it. >What if Disney simply just remaked Anastasia as part of their live action remakes?
What's so hard to understand that Disney Princesses are from theatrically released Disney movies?
I know this is a brand for little girls, but come on now, you should be able to notice the pattern in the current line-up of Princesses.
>Is it just me or did they buy them just to retire a competitor
Definitely just you. Blue Sky was already closed when they got Fox (who put themselves on the market anyways).
I hope they add Anastasia to the official Disney Princess lineup
I bet you also wanted them to add Leia, shut the frick up.
>I bet you [SCHIZO RAMBLING]
It's the same logic.
Leia is live-action, Anastasia comes from an animated musical. It's not the same logic.
A distinction without a difference, they're both just properties Disney bought.
Live action and animated movies ARE different for Disney Princess nomenclature.
Only matters how well they fit.

They already have Indiana Jones in some mobile games, along with Star Wars tho.
Luckily, they seem to keep Marvel separate.
It's cool actually, it's not like Fox was doing anything interesting with them anyway, I want to see the characters from Robots next.
Itll never happen robots is too obscure for them to do anything with
the next Fox/Blue Sky characters would probably be Rio since that was the only other Blue Sky film that got a sequel
But... but... when you walk away...
YOU DON'T HEAR ME SAY
Still miss Blue Sky Studios
KH is also included in these phone games
>Aqua over Kairi

I want Evil Aqua to step on me
Aqua is literally the only relevant female in the entire franchise.
I miss when Larxene mattered.

lul coomer devs
They just needed a token girl and no one fricking cares about Kairi.
what game?
Man I wish I could be immortalized as an Emoji in a Disney mobile game.
Huh, I'm both confused and impressed. Do they even still put Golden Girls on reruns?
Yes my mom watches them every night on Hallmark.

wat?
Avatar is lame.
Has James and the Giant Peach, the Black Hole, or Return To Oz been referenced in any of these games?
Family Guy would be funnier
Indeed
Song of the South certainly hasn't.
>buy out Blue Sky

Good.
Who cares about that? When are we getting Pete in Dreamlight Valley?
Why do they have two Scrats?
Baby Scrat is a character from one of the Ice Age movies.
LET ME AT EM, LET ME AT EM

Um sweatie Star Command was for chuds. Go watch Lightyear and its diverse cast only on Disney+ and then buy all Sox merchandise off the shelves at Disney store please.
Nobody remembers who Kim Possible is.
Kim Possible is actually one of the few series that consistently gets represented in some of these mobile games.

Marvel Snap recently added card effects and voice lines ripped from the Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur cartoon show to the game.
That's still just a Marvel adaptation at the end of the day.
Yeah, but still 100% produced by DTVA, Marvel Studios had nothing to do with it
That's like saying Big Hero 6 is Marvel just because Stan Lee is in it.
Was the original Big Hero 6 connected to the larger Marvel universe?
Apparently. There's even a reference to Tadashi's chip in the MCU.
Also, you joke but a lot of people did consider that "Marvel" when it was announced and came out.
Marvel didn't even publish the comics based on the Disney adaptation kek

Harambe is the name of the park's African village/wildlife reserve.
I liked the first movie tho so it’s fine.

So you're saying there's a chance we'll get Ice age characters in Lorcana? Interesting.
Maybe.
I for one wish they'd acknowledge their DTV sequels.
I'm surprised they haven't done it before.

lmao they've been the complete opposite of flexible, they don't even officially count TV Princesses.
Frozen gals aren't "officially counted" because that's still a separate brand
Correct, they're not Disney Princesses, they're Frozen Queens.
They still show up with the main group sometimes like in the WIR movie.

Yeah, they might as well use them.
