Anyways, the show itself is fairly adequate in regards to writing with some nice bits of continuity sprinkled over every episode. I like that Barney isn't exactly portrayed as in the right regarding 'his' personal hang-ups, and especially glad that 'he' isn't exempt from having some of the more wackier bullshit at the park affect 'him' as well. Courtney a best tho.

The mystery plot doesn’t make any sense. People go missing, but are seen by thousands at a theme park everyday and just nobody noticed.

When she finds out where the vcr is that contains the tape she starts smashing it with an axe. She desperately needs the tape but almost ruined it and when other people walk in on her they think she’s trying to destroy the evidence, because it’s obviously what it fricking looks like. No character remembers what they want or act like they are supposed to. Norma is the first one to mention missing workers in the first episode but then acts surprised near the end when she hears workers went missing.

I haven't read the comics, but from what I understand the show deviates pretty heavily from its source material. If there's ever a second season he might die, but I doubt it since the show is aiming at a pretty young audience.

I liked the musical episode with the parody songs. Also hearing alex brightman singing again with his "beetlejuice" voice was pretty cool. Also the character design of the pug wasn't bad.

Pauline possesses other people’s bodies and nobody comes forward about it and nobody notices that she suddenly looks nothing like what she used to look like and even turned black one time.
Also nobody ever noticed a dead body that looked exactly like Pauline was left where Pauline and her double were at, but only one person ever returned.
The entire Pauline story makes no sense at even a cursory glance. It honestly feels like three different people were trying to write a mystery story around her and then just mashed the stories together

As time went on, I heard people say nice things about its writing and action, but my mind was already set on not watching it.
