The gang starts wrecking the town demanding his leader be released and jon makes a deal with johhny, for them to honorably resolve this by the ancient rules of motorcycle jousting. Well johnny didn't know jon had installed NOS he made himself in his bike, giving a boost n the last second that allowed him to rip johnny's head clean off in the jousting match. Needless to say the gang didn't take kindly to this, and three of johnny's closest compadres attacked jon, at which point the effortlessly killed them on the spot. This was the first time Jon had killed, realizing he was forever a changed man and he could never love a woman the same way, he decided to become the leader of the gang and swore to use their power for good, keeping the roads safe for travelers, and forever burning with passion. When Kathy asked him what he was burning he said "Whaddaya got?" and rode away.
