I could never understand someone who watched the old show and said, "Sweetie is my favorite." She's barely got a personality other than smug and violent.
>No VA reveal for Lola or Fifi
Still holding out hope for Soucie to return. They already got Cooksey for Max, and possibly Cree for Elmyra if the rumors are true.
If they could get Cree, why not bring back Charlie Adler and Tress MacNeille?
They all got old/retired stupid. Also, Adler is a Trump/BLM schizo
You know you spend too much time on Cinemaphile when you can tell right away the both VAs on top are israelites without looking at their last names. I mean, Bergman looks so stereotypically it's surreal
>so Bob Bergen hasn't been fired from Porky after all? That's a relief.
That was never the case, he most likely got replaced in Space Jam for having trouble doing Porky's rap as a 50+ year old israeli man.
>At least Bugs is getting voiced by Jeff Bergman so it's not so bad.
It's not 2011 anymore, Bergman's Bugs sounds terrible now.
In all fricking honesty Bergman's Bugs didn't sound great in 2011 either. 90s was really when his Looney Tunes stuff was great. Not to say he's untalented, though. His Hanna-Barbera characters are fricking flawless.
You know it’s insane when Bazua was the one who hosted the SDCC panel last year with initial Babs introduction and zero indication he was in the show, let alone lead character, was made
Casting must have gone so bad they just went “frick it get the in-house Bugs VA to do Buster”
We know of at least three other VAs (Giroux, Ferguson some unknown black guy) who got fired and we got to hear sound snippets of before the finalized role was made
Apparently because execs weren’t thrilled with any prior used voice
I have always loved the trivia that in the original series, Joe Alaskey was really put-off by how high-energy and talkative both Charlie Adler and Tress MacNeille were during recording sessions (it was Alaskey's first TV role and he was still relatively new to Hollywood). He calls them chatterboxes in his autobiography and has done podcast interviews where he said "They'll forgive me for saying this since it's true, but they WOULD NOT SHADDUP!" Really makes it feel like the three of them were real-life versions of their characters.
press release says Cree Summer is back as Elmyra
https://www.animationmagazine.net/2023/06/eric-bauza-jeff-berman-bob-bergen-candi-milo-revealed-as-voice-cast-for-tiny-toons-looniveristy/
They changed their mind and included everyone in background cameos or one episode main status cameos because of the backlash against Numaniacs, a lot of what this show is doing is in reaction to what that show did
And Cree complained early enough that when they decided to bring everyone back and have Elmyra for an episode they decided to cast her for the role
>a lot of what this show is doing is in reaction to what that show did
Funny how that works given that the original Tiny Toons was really just a blueprint for Animaniacs.
I don’t think they even meant it as incest
I think it’s to get normalgays (incestgays notwithstanding) off the former main ship so there’s less pushback when they pair Buster with his “frenemy” or Babs with feminist punk bird
Friends and liked by Amblin people. This was pure nepotism given she bypassed the tried and true process of becoming a showrunner (you start as a writer/boarder for at least a season then become a story editor/board supervisor for a season, and then you get to run a show).
https://www.hachettebookgroup.com/contributor/erin-gibson/ >Emmy-nominated Southern loudmouth Erin Gibson is an expert at mixing social commentary, political satire, and vegana jokes into neat little comedy packages. Based in Los Angeles, she's one half of the Throwing Shade empire, which includes an award winning political absurdist comedy podcast, international live touring show, the Funny or Die web series and a TV Land late night show. She developed her social commentary chops as the host of "Modern Lady" and sharpened them writing and directing political sketches for Funny or Die, where you've seen her impersonate terrible women like Michele Bachmann, Megyn Kelly, Michelle Duggar and Ivanka Trump. She also created the long running Emmy-nominated "Gay of Thrones" starring her real-life hair stylist, Jonathan Van Ness. Feminasty is her debut book of comedic essays.
>terrible women like Michele Bachmann, Megyn Kelly, Michelle Duggar and Ivanka Trump
What makes them so terrible? I wonder what they all have in common besides their sex.
Since the moment the show was announced you all decided to b***h that Elmyra wasn’t back with her original VA
Now that’s the only returning VA you’ll get
Cree is a one episode cameo because of online people reeing she got left out
Alaskey is dead, Tress probably has zero interest in doing this given the prior creeps during the original show and that she can’t be a convincable teenager anymore, Adler quit during the middle of production with very bad blood
At that point just recast everyone
>Sweetie, one the least popular characters from the og, is now a star and a "GRRRRR I HATE ALL MEN!!! DIE MEN!!!" Straw Feminist >Elmyra, who fans fricking hated so much she was the only character even MORE hated than Sweety Bird, and one of the most hated characters in animation, described as a fricking "fan favorite" >main romantic couple from the original is now FRICKING INCEST for no reason but ripping off Gravity Falls
What the frick?!? Numaniacs reboot sucked and now fricking this?! Where are they even getting these fricking people who either have no fricking idea about the original Amblin cartoons THIS much or even fricking hate them to shit on them? How hard is it to just hire some middle of the road CHILDREN'S CARTOON showrunner (so not this and not fricking Family Guy, either) who either remembers the originals or is okay with at least sitting down to watch them??
>Eric Bauza as Buster Bunny
Great, can't wait for him to completely frick up his voice like he did with Bugs. At least Bugs is getting voiced by Jeff Bergman so it's not so bad.
Tired of this Reddit opinion
He’s the only VA that has actual enthusiasm in the role and brought back those little yelps and pitches Mel had
Unless you’re really into the bored, flat, straightman Bugs of TLTS
>He’s the only VA that has actual enthusiasm in the role and brought back those little yelps and pitches Mel had
Are you, by chance, moronic and/or deaf?
its funny i always thought Bergman's Bugs and Daffy sounded super annoying back then when Looney Tunes Show was airing, kept me from really getting invested in it. i think Bauza is an improvement.
well Im not from troonyland, so I dont care about these voice actors. I wonder what would happen with the LatAm dub? would be dubbed in mexico like everything looney tune related or dubbed in venezuela like the original tiny toons?
>No VA reveal for Lola or Fifi
Still holding out hope for Soucie to return. They already got Cooksey for Max, and possibly Cree for Elmyra if the rumors are true.
>possibly Cree for Elmyra if the rumors are true.
But it's true, she'll be back... for one episode. https://twitter.com/IAmCreeSummer/status/1671988587070648326
Imagine if they got Buster’s second voice actor after Adle during the original series. The was the voice of the Crypt Keeper. No one ever mentions him.
Who is this for?! Is this for millennials like me? I tried to watch the nu-Animaniacs intro but gave up because there is literal bait in it. They attack old fans right off the bat.
Is this for zoomers? Younger? They don’t know who these characters even are and they should actually just watch the original, dated references and all. It was at least cute, had good ships, and wasn’t so tryhard.
She does so it’s nowhere as bad, even aggressive feminist is better then the old version, but it’s so odd for how hated the original is that they’d make her a main character
It’s the same if the new Foster’s show changed Bendy’s personality and made him a main character
The showrunner was too old to watch the old show, she's just doing her own takes based on the short bios they gave her and not particularly caring what was done before, hence why they completely disregarded the long-running "no relation" catchphrase.
Three of the four are not celebs or e-celebs and are actual industry VAs so this is nowhere as bad as Nutales casting where you only had Tony as an actual VA
>All we have are one leaked unfinished episode and one teaser >Already 3/4 very prominent usages of rainbow imagery with the teaser itself having 2
What did the gays mean by this?
Does she not have a VA?
Silent in the kitchen where she belongs
They don't have The Looney Tunes Show budget to get the real celebrities from that cast to come back.
no Tweety?
No Fifi, Shirley, Max, Elmyra, Dizzy, or Fowlmouth either...
At least they got the showrunner self insert, because that's all that matters.
She'll be the center of a attention way too often.
Sweetie WILL date Babs and beak her clit and you WILL enjoy it
I recall seeing Fifi in some of the leaked screenshots, maybe their roles have been dialed down
I could never understand someone who watched the old show and said, "Sweetie is my favorite." She's barely got a personality other than smug and violent.
Like making Sneezer the lead.
I legitimately can’t remember a single memorable moment with Sweetie from the original.
he doesn't appear to be part of the main cast
When was the art of using appropiate lines of action completely list?
Why these bucks featture bad clones of famous cartoon characters?
Nice rack Foghorn
>Someone other than Jim Cummings as Taz
Fricking unacceptable.
They all got old/retired stupid. Also, Adler is a Trump/BLM schizo
You know you spend too much time on Cinemaphile when you can tell right away the both VAs on top are israelites without looking at their last names. I mean, Bergman looks so stereotypically it's surreal
Candi Milo should be my wife.
so Bob Bergen hasn't been fired from Porky after all? That's a relief.
(I presume Jim Cummings' lawsuit/Wunhan flu tweets got him evicted from Taz)
Jim returned as Taz in Space Jam
>so Bob Bergen hasn't been fired from Porky after all? That's a relief.
That was never the case, he most likely got replaced in Space Jam for having trouble doing Porky's rap as a 50+ year old israeli man.
In all fricking honesty Bergman's Bugs didn't sound great in 2011 either. 90s was really when his Looney Tunes stuff was great. Not to say he's untalented, though. His Hanna-Barbera characters are fricking flawless.
After Wabbit and Looney Tunes Cartoons it's really nice to have the LT characters actually look the way most people remember them.
Did they have to give Bergen the israelite ~~*echo*~~?
nepotism and racepolitics bs
You know it’s insane when Bazua was the one who hosted the SDCC panel last year with initial Babs introduction and zero indication he was in the show, let alone lead character, was made
Casting must have gone so bad they just went “frick it get the in-house Bugs VA to do Buster”
Ben Giroux was supposed to be Buster so I assume that’s what happened
We know of at least three other VAs (Giroux, Ferguson some unknown black guy) who got fired and we got to hear sound snippets of before the finalized role was made
Apparently because execs weren’t thrilled with any prior used voice
Buster is a weirdly cursed part.
I have always loved the trivia that in the original series, Joe Alaskey was really put-off by how high-energy and talkative both Charlie Adler and Tress MacNeille were during recording sessions (it was Alaskey's first TV role and he was still relatively new to Hollywood). I fricking miss his Daffy/Sylvester
I miss Joe so much, he's my favorite Daffy
Giroux was Buster in the leaked unfinished episode, right?
>Eric Bauza as Buster Bunny
Why? He would be a much better fit for Plucky.
No Tress MacNeille?
Will Babs main comic gag be Celebrity Impersonations?
I hope not, she would have to imitate e-celebs
Hard pass. Expect it to go about as well as the Animaniacs reboot.
We’re only here for the shitposts and porn
Pile of shit that choked out and was only good for the short moment they gave fans what they wanted.
clip?
This is, incredibly, going to be even worse than nuAnimaniacs
I doubt they will literally kill all characters for an end, so it can't be as bad as numaniacs at least.
If they did it would be a mercy
press release says Cree Summer is back as Elmyra
https://www.animationmagazine.net/2023/06/eric-bauza-jeff-berman-bob-bergen-candi-milo-revealed-as-voice-cast-for-tiny-toons-looniveristy/
Cree said that she wouldn't be returning when this first started. So I guess the voice actor to replace her was recast with the original.
No Cree said she wasn't in because Elmyra was being cut from the show all together. I guess they changed their mind.
They changed their mind and included everyone in background cameos or one episode main status cameos because of the backlash against Numaniacs, a lot of what this show is doing is in reaction to what that show did
And Cree complained early enough that when they decided to bring everyone back and have Elmyra for an episode they decided to cast her for the role
>a lot of what this show is doing is in reaction to what that show did
Funny how that works given that the original Tiny Toons was really just a blueprint for Animaniacs.
>fraternal twin
why is the industry so obsessed with incest?
Trying to normalize it.
I don’t think they even meant it as incest
I think it’s to get normalgays (incestgays notwithstanding) off the former main ship so there’s less pushback when they pair Buster with his “frenemy” or Babs with feminist punk bird
Frick that I’m ramping up my fanart shipping them out spite now.
Don't know which ship you're referring to but based regardless
This is accurate because they’re not siblings and this offends zoomers still. They’re just rabbits.
And that's the story of how little Timmy became an incestCHAD
>little child wanting to watch old show from new show
That isn't how children think. That's how you think.
HOT AS FRICK NOW
>Now
It was always hot
It's just more hot
>smash the patriarchy
Oh boy
Patriarchysisters, it’s over…
We all knew the show was going to have this kind of content given the showrunner's background (which isn't in animation at all)
Why are her arms so short?
"co-host" of a Gay and Feminst centered podcast. That's the big one.
Like the Animaniacs reboot, they should've just brought back Tom Ruegger. But Sam Register hates him for some reason.
cripes
The frick is this bullshit?
Classic bugs bunny act
No it fricking isn't. There is no foil he's pulling a gag on. This is just modern drag gagabge.
Women and gays are really into unironic drag.
Bugs training Buster in the ways of drag. Truly empowering and brave.
>We can't allow characters like Hello Nurse to exist, or show Elmer Fudd with a gun. Think of what it would do to kids.
>Anyway,
The hypocrisy is the worst part.
Ew gay
Decent flash animation.
Where's the joke?
>Joke?
Wanting to turn boys into women isn't a joke we take this very seriously at WB now teach Billy how to put on lipstick.
What was her background, and how did she get to run such an important reboot?
Friends and liked by Amblin people. This was pure nepotism given she bypassed the tried and true process of becoming a showrunner (you start as a writer/boarder for at least a season then become a story editor/board supervisor for a season, and then you get to run a show).
Her background is she made Gay of Thrones and she got the job by letting Spielberg frick her clit
You can't fool me. D&D were the GoT showrunners.
She didn't make the gay show Game of Thrones she made Gay of Thrones
Seriously? Shouldn't that be the very opposite of what would qualify her to run a children's cartoon?

SINCE WHEN?
Well not "fan" but Producers loved her. Everyone was confused as hell about the Spinoff.
Since the moment the show was announced you all decided to b***h that Elmyra wasn’t back with her original VA
Now that’s the only returning VA you’ll get
Producers loved her for some reason. She had two backdoor pilots before taking over Pinky and the Brain.
If they could get Cree, why not bring back Charlie Adler and Tress MacNeille?
I doubt either can convincingly sound like teenagers anymore. MacNeille's Dot in Nu-maniacs sounds like an old hag
Cree is a one episode cameo because of online people reeing she got left out
Alaskey is dead, Tress probably has zero interest in doing this given the prior creeps during the original show and that she can’t be a convincable teenager anymore, Adler quit during the middle of production with very bad blood
At that point just recast everyone
>the prior creeps during the original show
>still believing urban legends propagated by both furry drama, AND hate
They would've probably gone with a woke voice cast over the original VA's even if the originals could still do the voices to near perfection.
>Sweetie, one the least popular characters from the og, is now a star and a "GRRRRR I HATE ALL MEN!!! DIE MEN!!!" Straw Feminist

>Eric Bauza
Is this the incest show everyone was talking about like a month ago?
Reminder to be the rootenist, the tootenist, and the shootenist outalw this side of the Pecos. But above all, be kind.
Where is Shirley? Is she safe? Is she alright?
Sweetie is for sure going to need a wiener to make her calm down about that feminist shit
I'd give Tessa Netting the dick, for sure. b***h is cute.
Hezel from Bunk'D
Are they still pushing ahead with this? I figured it was cancelled after that godawful 'leak,' because news and interest in it dried up real fast.
Show's DoA, the company just doesn't give a frick anymore, it Will still increase their ESG score.
That's not how it works
After Numanics bombed it’s going for a kids over online adult neckbeard approach
They wouldn’t make them twins nor highly promote that if they weren’t
But the episode we saw wouldn't even be interesting to children. There wasn't a single redeemable quality about it.
I say the same with Teen Titans Go or Loud House yet here we are
First season of loud house was fun and charming. The it turned to shit and manchildren ruined whatever fandom it had left.
>Eric Bauza as Buster Bunny

It's not 2011 anymore, Bergman's Bugs sounds terrible now.
still better than bauza imo, with bergman I can actually listen to bugs for more than 5 seconds without wanting to smash my head off a wall
its funny i always thought Bergman's Bugs and Daffy sounded super annoying back then when Looney Tunes Show was airing, kept me from really getting invested in it. i think Bauza is an improvement.
well Im not from troonyland, so I dont care about these voice actors. I wonder what would happen with the LatAm dub? would be dubbed in mexico like everything looney tune related or dubbed in venezuela like the original tiny toons?
How is the US “troonyland” when places like South America and South Asia are known for an underground culture of ladyboys
SDCC will be funny
troony Troon adventures

Gotcha, thanks. I know Soucie can still pull of a good French accent, so here's hoping.
I guess you can say it was a Looniversity hire.
>The face that mentally broke millions
Reminds of a spicy duck that is going to break my fragile ego.
Buster is white.
Babs is white.
Plucky is black.
Hampton is white.
Sweetie is not a main character.
Sorry, it's the truth.
Buster is a bunny
Babs is a bunny
Plucky is a duck
Hampton is a pig
None of them have "races"
You are correct about Sweetie
Chad post.
The mystery of Buster's VA going back years just to randomly hear it's Bauza lol
Imagine if they got Buster’s second voice actor after Adle during the original series. The was the voice of the Crypt Keeper. No one ever mentions him.
The only notable thing he was in was Night Ghoulery and even then he played a pure straightman who appeared in one segment only
>Hamton going for a doctorate
>Elmyra, the explicit kid character, is not a student
So, people still in doubt the tiny toons are adults in this?
cute
Wow
We had troonymaniacs
Now it's time for Tiny Troons
I unironically hope we get a parody of the new intro lol
Who is this for?! Is this for millennials like me? I tried to watch the nu-Animaniacs intro but gave up because there is literal bait in it. They attack old fans right off the bat.
Is this for zoomers? Younger? They don’t know who these characters even are and they should actually just watch the original, dated references and all. It was at least cute, had good ships, and wasn’t so tryhard.
Honestly don’t know if I more surprised by the bunnies being twins or the most widely hated character of the original becoming a main character
Judging by the leaked episode Sweetie has an almost entirely different personality so it's not that bad.
She does so it’s nowhere as bad, even aggressive feminist is better then the old version, but it’s so odd for how hated the original is that they’d make her a main character
It’s the same if the new Foster’s show changed Bendy’s personality and made him a main character

Horrible, if not worse than those so-called famous actors who played the boys and girls in the horrible Nu-Ducktales.
Three of the four are not celebs or e-celebs and are actual industry VAs so this is nowhere as bad as Nutales casting where you only had Tony as an actual VA
That did not sound like Eric Bauza in the leaked episode.
Watch the trailer again.
I'm not talking about the trailer, I'm talking about the episode that was leaked in the beginning of the year.
It wasn’t
That was a temp voice or one of a few VAs they fired during the casting for the role
>All we have are one leaked unfinished episode and one teaser
>Already 3/4 very prominent usages of rainbow imagery with the teaser itself having 2
What did the gays mean by this?
It's Showrunner is a Feminst big in the gay Community
Buckychads our time is coming
Did they still ruin my husbando by making him nonbinary or did they smartly reverse that decision?
