Channel 5 have kino documentaries. I like the one about Sex Doll enthusiasts, the furry ridicule one, and the one about the b***h married to the eiffel tower
Temperature is determined by movement of atoms. When cabin popped, all the water rushed in, air got compressed, molecules got squeeze together at super high rate. Hence temperature spiked and they got super cooked.
>Hence temperature spiked and they got super cooked.
but the temperature would have been dissipated by the intensely cold water god I miss troll physics threads on /b/
the change in pressure causes a caviation bubble to form, and when it collapses for a split second the temperature exceeds the temperature of the sun
its how pistol shrimp kill their prey
>what are the chances of surviving an event like this?
You would need two magic spells. One that would save you from your body imploding by itself (yes, your body is built for 1 atmosphere of pressure not 375~) and the other one that would make you breath underwater for something like 3-5 hours depending on how fast can you swim to the surface (I assume you would do that much slower than the actual submersible).
Channel 5 UK is literally making a documentary about this as we speak. This is a disaster which is funny as frick and on par with Fyre Festival in the amount of red flags ignored. In fact Fyre was better because no one died. Lmao.
An actual movie? Never. There’s nothing remotely cinematic about dying instantly in pitch black. Some cheaply produced “documentary”? A dozen will be out before summer’s over
It could be a black comedy about an incompetent company constantly at the edge of a total disaster that never happens until the very end of the movie, when the company seems to have beaten the odds and found success and customers. And then the credits roll with shots of the futile rescue effort in the background.
Make it about the son. Show off how great billionaires have it for like 90% of the movie, and try to make us feel sorry for the rich fat kid when he dies at the end.
It could be a good movie with the right script. We know the Rush guy was into being cheap and flaunting safety rules, but his team must have either believed him due to his strong personality or just agreed in order to keep their jobs. You could show all the moments where he cheaped out on the design/construction, some might have been okay decisions, others horrible. You can show the first successful voyage that actually landed on the wreck of the Titanic, and Rush desperately trying to woo billionaires and celebs into going on the sub because he needed cashflow. With the right script and casting, it could be a good drama, even though we know the ending. Plus you would dramatize what happened inside the sub during the whole final deadly voyage too
It would suck so fricking much. We would get 1h of getting to know the characters who would go into the sub, maybe another hour about the process of building the sub, the successful dives, then a bit where the guys warn about the delamination and gets fired, etc. And then the the actual accident would be the last 10min maybe. If it were the case that they got stuck there in fear for hours it could be interesting. But they dove, went down for like an hour then the thing imploded without warning.
If I was on that submersible with my kid, it wouldn’t have went down like it did. There would have been a lack of blood and giblets in that first-class tin can and then me saying, ‘OK, we’re going to land on The Titanic safely, don’t worry.’”
Long after it's lost relevance (i.e. a month from now)
>a month from now
It literally got kicked off the front page within a day of news of the implosion breaking thanks to Prigozhin's big brainfart lmao
>Titan
>sounds similar to Titanic
>OceanGate
>sounds similar to WaterGate
nope, no red flags at all.
full moron
You are legitimately schizophrenic or developing dementia, please seek help
>implying that corporations give a frick about decorum or being in bad taste and don't only care about profits
rofl waffle
>Netflix takes a dive with tone deaf tweet
>takes a dive
>tone deaf
you'd think they'd tidy up their own headline a little
>The Deepest Breath
>mogged by Channel 5
Netflixsisters...
Channel 5 are known for that shite. You can hardly call it a docu
Channel 5 have kino documentaries. I like the one about Sex Doll enthusiasts, the furry ridicule one, and the one about the b***h married to the eiffel tower
I mean the current event ones, like when Nicola Bulley drowned. Dan Walker really fell off
not titan by the cylinder being metal
>near, far, wherever you-ACK!
Unrealistic because there won't be blood due to everyone being super cooked.
Can you explain the supercooked thing? Even basically?
Air moves so fast due to instant pressure loss that it super heats because of ridiculous speed change of atom movement
Fair enough
sheeet
Temperature is determined by movement of atoms. When cabin popped, all the water rushed in, air got compressed, molecules got squeeze together at super high rate. Hence temperature spiked and they got super cooked.

Are these just theories and models? How the hell do they know for sure
they announced finding "presumed body parts" so its not as intense as the claims at least
Pressumed could be anything from teeth bits blown and lodged into the titan end caps.
These aren't theories or models. These can be replicated on the surface as well. The sub was basically a amped up pressure cooker like
said.
Pressure cookers have a heating element though
The heating element isn't used to cook the food. The heating element is used to generate steam which in turns increases the pressure.
ever heard of a pressure cooker? imagine one that can hit literal surface of the sun temps.
and to think the Instant Pot company's going bankrupt instead of making Titan models
tbf your pot roast isn't much good to you vaporized
Enlightening
more like.. endarkening
>5 times worse then a carpet burn
That's gotta sting
I don't think they would have been completely cooked but this video shows how compressing the air raises the temperature.
the change in pressure causes a caviation bubble to form, and when it collapses for a split second the temperature exceeds the temperature of the sun
its how pistol shrimp kill their prey
>Once more, you open the door
if there was another sub down there to film this happen, why didnt they rescue the titan
its not titan anon, titan had a carbon cylinder that probably exploded into a million pieces
it's a cg animation.
Why didn't the animators help the crew
The render times were too long.
They didn't want to get out of their sub and get wet
*comical fart sound plays during the crush*
*audience laugh track*
I would be struggling to breathe if they did that, from laughing so hard.
>*trombone sound plays*
>take animation
>apply shitty VHS filter over it
>spread it like AIDS
Why are you like this, moron?
>check archive
>it's been posted once
why are you moronic
That's how AIDS starts, anon. It must be contained.
Nobody's got AIDS! I don't wanna hear that word in here again!
Why do they turn into blood mist if they were also turned to Ash?
What's with the dumbass zoomer vhs filter on this animation? It's not going to convince anybody thati t's real
I genuinely don't understand why people ruin webms like this, what's even the logic in making it look like dogshit? Is it just autism?
Its zoomers obsessed with analogue horror even though they don't know shit about what a vhs actually looks like
All VHS tapes were creepy bro, fr fr
no cap
what are the chances of surviving an event like this?
0 (zero)
'bout 50%. you either do or you don't.
Pretty good if you can time jumping out of the sub right and avoid any shrapnel
>jumping out
From where? The non-existent door?
When the window pops out, just that the timing is critical
>pops out
>out
About that.
Why didn't they just put scuba suits on and open the door anyway
I would assume they have oxygen for getting to thr surface
The door was bolted shut.
well that seems silly
How so? It's not like you're going to be able to open it at those depths anyway
Use explosive bolts. When the door blasts away, jump out before the water gets in and you are home free
You could forced yourself to the surface if you timed it right
>what are the chances of surviving an event like this?

wiener statuses?

what if James Cameron made it and somehow made it a romance/action movie too lol
Get Jim on the phone right now.

Guy raging on about the potential super-strength of carbon fiber is not an interesting plot.
with enough pressure you too could be like them. kaaa-chow.
They'd probably make a movie about the kid who didn't want to go, but went to please his dad on Father's Day.
A movie about the actual events would be shit but something with them getting stuck at the bottom of the ocean would be kino
what's the point we already know the ending and it's anti climatic as frick
Every day without one is a day wasted
how would a movie about it even work
They could make a horror movie while taking liberties on what actually happened.
That seems way bigger than the acutal one
frogs are smol
Is that the bridge?
Make it about the son. Show off how great billionaires have it for like 90% of the movie, and try to make us feel sorry for the rich fat kid when he dies at the end.
>son has a dream sequence early in the film foreshadowing an accident in the sub
>How long till its acceptable to make a movie about this?
Bout three fiddy
Internet historian is going to make a video about it in a year or two and then netflix will announce a mini series a few months after that

Imagine being shredded to pieces by carbon fiber bits and 3,000 degree superheated air 12,500 feet below the Atlantic
I can't explain it but I feel like I would have survived this somehow, I'm a survivor at heart and I can see myself living through this
By the time it's acceptable it wont be a FOTM topic for you normies anymore and therefore will not happen.
What about a horror film that ties in a supernatural cause of the implosion to the wreck of the titanic
I'm thinking eldritch horror of the wreck
Cast them
