I've seen so much of MCU and Star Wars it's just redundant now. Now I'm watching a whole lot more Star Trek TNG, DS9, Voyager, with 7 seasons each and about 30 episodes per season , i've long forgotten the details of each episode.

voyager is too stupid for me to watch it.
I love Voyager, Seven of Nine is la borg sunshine! But the time travel episodes are kind of a lazy solution to progressing towards home
It takes a while to get good like a lot of television shows back then it took a few seasons to find its voice but it has some incredible episodes, but yeah some real stinkers as well. I'd say it's worth it for the highs though, nice thing is most episodes at self contained so you can skip and you don't really miss much. Give it another chance anon, you won't regret it if you like star trek.
Watching most Star Trek is like watching Baseball. You can kick back and pay attention, or leave off for 10 minutes and grab some food and comeback in time for the good parts of each show. You can also go to a Star Trek day at a MLB park on certain occasions and get a Hot Dog .
while you have definitely upset me with this I can't say you are wrong. I don't like the idea of people leaving for 10 minutes lmao but yeah it reminds me of what I was into baseball for sure.
If you watch sports like Baseball along side Star Trek, you won't be considered a complete Nerd.
I don't disagree but its 10x better than any modern scifi.
yes. but everything these days is 10x worse
The Borg episodes bore me now because TNG and VOY ran them to the fricking ground. Crusher is a horrible Doctor and the Enterprise was better off with Pulaski.
My biggest issue with TNG is how Star Fleet refuses to identify themselves as a Space Navy. and Military Force. The whole of Star Fleet is solid based on Navy Rank, terminology, weaponry, ship life, and tradition.
pulaski was a c**t. i wish her character died.
>Crusher is a horrible Doctor
name a single time Pulaski even attempted medicine
rewatch tng from parso then watch all of ds9. ur welcome.
I just wrapped up my TNG + movies run last night AMA
Season 1 is underrated
The Inner Light is overrated
Nemesis really isn't as bad as people say it is
Nemesis is forgiven since the events of Picard season 3.
What's the movie viewing order? I just started watching TNG in full myself.
>Nemesis really isn't as bad as people say it is
It is, it's just that everything after was even worse.
watch the one episode of Strange New Worlds with the k3wl villain. don't bother with the rest of it. The second season is just everyone moping about their trauma and it's boring
Or don't watch nuTrek at all
>It's a Wesley acts like a selfish little shit and nearly starts an intergalactic war and suffers no consequences episode
Wesley was alright, he had and female alien world leader wanting his D.
never happened
why is Mrina Sirtis' nose so weird there?
I'm a newbie watching through TNG for the first time and then looking up the reception on each episode. I just got done watching S2.E14 ∙ The Icarus Factor and I thought it was awesome, easily some of the best feels and character moments so far, then I go and look up the IMDB rating and it's a 6.2. I bet it's trannies who hated the virility of that episode dragging the rating down. Meanwhile S2.E12 ∙ The Royale which was objectively one of the worst episodes in the series had a 6.6. We already have the holodeck why do such a shitty episode like that and who the hell would rate that so highly?
Are there resources where autists compile information like "Worf got punched in these episodes" and "Enterprise used photon torpedoes in these episodes"
Be the change you want to see in the world, anon. For example, I'm $3.75 in quarters.
The closest is Memory Alpha.
Good, while you're at watch the greatest sci-fi series ever put to film.
I went through a similar thing recently. Watched TNG and TOS because I was familiar with them. Hadn't seen TNG since childhood.
I ended up not really liking TNG after the 3rd season or so. They started to repeat plot points (examples: Data focused episodes start to just be rehashes of earlier episodes, the Worf subplot about him and the Klingon homeworld starts to tread water, etc...). I think I also started to find Brent Spiner really annoying, and I disliked how after season 3 or so Riker grows a beard and they play his character for less of the Captain Kirk type sex appeal. Less of a sex man.
TOS is fun and cheesy.
But I watched Voyager for the first time and I started to really like it. I always liked TOS, mostly for the Kirk, Spock, and McCoy dynamic, but also for the cheese factor. Voyager doesn't have a really strong group of watchable friends at its center like TOS, but the characters are likeable enough, and more importantly Voyager seemed to know it was inherently silly. I found it really refreshing after the later seasons of TNG.
