>"Of course! I mean listen, I was thinking about this the other day right before we did our Talk Ville Podcast ... we were on one of the most successful shows in the history of television, like Top 50. From that show, I've never gotten an incoming call from anyone involved in that show for further work. I'm not saying like I don't feel bad about that, I don't harp on anybody about that. But you would think that when you're successful, [you'd continue to be successful] with successful people. But I think the time has changed."

>actor is willing to get paid
Who cares, it'll never happen.

>we were on one of the most successful shows in the history of television, like Top 50
that's not true at all
>never gotten an incoming call
Oof. So he called begging for roles. Still love the guy.
Only works if the movie ends with the formation of the Justice League
The WC Justice League
>our Talk Ville Podcast
I guess this is common for actors who are only remembered for one show?
Now that the dust has settled... who was best girl?
lana
Should’ve been Lana. She’s basically the character from the comics.
Patrician taste.
Correct. One date one she teleports into Clarks bedroom to give him head. 5 years pining after Lana and doesn't even get a hand job.
>5 years pining after Lana and doesn't even get a hand job.
he pounded her so hard it caused an earthquake though
Alicia
Honestly one of the best portrayals of Superman. He actually felt like a rural farm boy that discovers he had superpowers
Both the Kents and the Luthors were great. Best parts of the show.
It was weird as frick that he was supposed to be some loser nerd in Season 1. It’s Tom Welling. The guy’s an obvious jock. Were the writers stuck on old high school cliches or something?
it premiered 23 years ago so yes
He wasn't seen particularly as a loser just a bit of a weird freshman, he even got invited to the football club early on.
>Here's that nerd loser I was telling you about. He couldn't get laid in a brothel
>Clark Kent? No way! He's got kryptonite paint on his overalls.
the writers did work for the original spiderman film so that was a carry over I think
Smallville came out a year before Spider-Man.
How bout Jonathan Kent? He’d be playing Superman’s father rather than Superman himself.
he could definitely still play man of tomorrow superman if he hit the gym harder.
i meant kingdom come
I like Tom Welling for portraying one of my favourite characters in any TV show but he should go frick himself for the move he pulled in the final episode. Not getting into the suit is the biggest frick you to fans I have ever seen anywhere next to the ending to Castle
If they ever did a Smallville movie, they should outright force him to be in the suit for 80% of the damn movie
They released a season 11 comic where they put him in the suit regardless lol.
I actually have all of those comics, even made a unique slipcase for them. Season 11 is the exact reason why no movie or even season of Smallville is required. They went through WW, Batman, Black Flash, and the Anti-Monitor. No need to go any further when literally all important storylines have been done in-universe
>but he should go frick himself
It was not his call you moron.

>actor ignores his agents advice that taking a Superman role as a relatively new actor typecasts him
>takes the role
>gets type cast
>cries
>ten years of being superman, world famous, plenty of money, his own ranch, loving family
yeah he really fricked that one up
He clearly is not happy with what happened. Believe it or not, most actors are egotistical so money is not enough for them
Getting mixed signals here because when Crisis on Infinite Earth came out he didn't want to do a large role in it
>the time has changed
that's what i think too every time i (re)watch one of these 00's kino full of qts, and not changed for the better
