S3 yes.
S1-2 are the worst Trek ever tho. Like She-Hulk, Jaws 4, Superman 3-4, Catwoman level bad with the same sadistic cruelty as The Last Jedi.
>with the same sadistic cruelty as The Last Jedi.
And yet you went back to watch S3. What a fricking simp.
It might be the best you've seen, but it's still bad. For actual GOOD NuTrek, you should check out Prodigy.
Did it 'get good' or are you just shilling?
I watched the first 3 eps. Didn't hate but I didn't care for it either
I am shilling it because it got good.
I'll shill for no money! Tends to drag but it gets better and better.
Prodigy was designed to draw newcomers to the franchise, so it sticks to core concepts and values of Star Trek so it can explain them to new viewers. This gives it a massive advantage over other NuTrek shows, as it STICKS TO THE CORE CONCEPTS AND VALUES OF STAR TREK.
Simultaneously, it also has extremely tight writing and continuity with previous shows, and acts as a sequel to Voyager in particular.
season 1 is retroactively passable compared to season 2 but still quite mediocre
season 2 is abysmal, probably the worst individual season of any star trek show that isn't discovery, it's quite sad the best part of this season comes in the 2nd episode when Q shows us what the alt-picard had done to his enemies.
season 3 is pretty good once they get past the 3rd, 4th and 5th episodes (which are full hour length episodes) where the plot grinds to a halt
prodigy, lower decks and SNW are all good.
I can understand that autistic joyless homosexuals that love boring morality plays wouldn't like Prodigy or Lower Decks though.
>boring morality plays
The Nu Trek "fan" (shill), everyone. They claim to like Star Trek when it suits them, but in actuality, they loathe everything about it beyond a few surface details such as the names of things. Intelligently written, thought-provoking (and fundamentally optimistic) stories? Cool sci-fi concepts and complex moral dilemmas? Competent, likeable characters working together to overcome problems? Frick all that noise. You're an "autistic joyless homosexual" if you like any of the things that made Star Trek so popular. No, feelings in corridors/shitting on white men in a miserable space dystopia is where it's at.
And then - again, when it suits them - they'll claim that Nu Trek is entirely in the spirit of old (actual) Trek, and anyone pointing out how it's entirely different and an insult to anyone who liked TNG etc is delusional or something.
holy frick go write a fanfic lmao
>Nu Trek shill can't cope with reading six lines of text
Not a surprise.
>write a fantic [sic]
You know what? I actually kind of am 😉
Gets good on ep. 6 Kobayashi. At least you se Dal fail repeatedly. So much he goes insane
The Kobayashi-Maru scenario? Are they _still_ trying to squeeze water from that stone? Let it go already.
The fun, and important, part is seeing Dal´s ego being cut to size. Also something about the responsability and duty of being a commanding officer.
>Are they _still_ trying to squeeze water from that stone? Let it go already.
See
>Prodigy was designed to draw newcomers to the franchise, so it sticks to core concepts and values of Star Trek so it can explain them to new viewers.
And it makes sense in-universe. HoloJaneway is a training advisor, so she advises the use of a training program.
Prodigy feels like a Star Trek flavored cool-aid kids show instead of something properly Star Trek. Its only good for what it is.
>cool-aid kids show
I know you think we all share an inherent understanding of your thought process, but we really don't. What the frick do you mean by this?
You described Rick & Trek.
Lower Decks is just slop that should have never existed.
We both agree on that point.
>best in years
a slight increase after years of downward slope so steep its a cliff face
Dropped it when Picard literally turned himself into a "golem" at the end of season 1. So much for the "sir" is Sir Patrick Stewart.
Still mogged by TNG.
I'll watch it when they remaster it with AI to look like it belongs in the old timeline, and remove all references to the first two seasons.
the episode where they had to put out fires was best
Imagine watching Star Trek after Enterprise.
