>No Sopranos
The Sopranos has never broken r/television's top 10 greatest shows of all time, all of the shows in my OP have.
im surprised better call saul isnt on the top then list, unless theyre just groupig it with brba
They group it
They definitely like it and I'd call it a reddit show, but it's not in the accumulative top 10 shows I would call peak reddit.
ranking best shows of all time with no time limit is fricking moronic. IMDB has the same issue with it's top 250.
of course something brand new is going to get more ratings than something that was made 20 years before your ranking even came out.
It should be something like 10 years AT LEAST from the show's first season before it can appear on a list like this. if not 10 years from it's last season. Using the second of these metrics would wipe out like over half the list.
Better Call Saul is soooo fricking boring. I am actually shocked that normies like it. Normies freak out at me when I tell them I've seen back and white movies. What the frick...
>told my 20 year old co-worker that I watched Commando the night before
>he replies "oh, so you like old movies then?"
>The Mandolorian and The Good Place above The Sopranos and Mad Men
how can you possibly vote for best shows of all time when it's virtually impossible to have seen even all the most critically acclaimed shows of the past 10 years, let alone all time?
UMMMMMMMM SNEEDIE, EVERYONE KNOWS THAT GAME OF THRONES AND BREAKING BAD HAVE 9/10s on IMDB SO WHY WOULD I NEED TO SEE ANY OTHER SHOWS?
>Haunting of Bly Manor above Haunting of Hill House
Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul are good enough that they transcend the Cinemaphile and Reddit conflict, and are beloved by both.
>the expanse
is it actually good?
>malcom in the middle that low
jeez ledditors really have no taste
Everything that I don't like is reddit and everything that I like is not reddit.
Simple as.
Near perfect list
Missing “How I Met Your Mother” though. Maybe replace The Wire with it
How I Met Your Mother is VERY reddit yes. I'd swap it with The Expanse. The Wire is Redditor's magnum opus.
>Mr. Black
destiny is down with choco milkers? based
>The Wire
IDK. even reddit users should now be able to pick up on the reactionary themes, so I doubt they rate it that highly anymore, but 2006-2008 they thought they would get PhDs from watching
it's weird how much reddit likes community because it was written by a womanizer and so many of the jokes are racial or homophobic in nature and wouldn't fly today only a few years later.
same deal with 30 rock. There was like 4 episodes with blackface. Quite frankly I can't believe all the episodes where someone does a "black" voice aren't banned, someone IN the show even calls liz racist for impersonating a balck person.
they probably havent seen the show since they first watched it, and remember only good things about it
I was watching Community with a girl I was seeing last year (she'd never seen it) and she really hated Jeff, just couldn't get into the show because of how much of a dick he was yet she laughed at a lot of the jokes, even the film references she didn't understand.
Another woman I was talking to said she hates Seinfeld because George Costanza is too much of an butthole.
Anyway, both shows are based, I acknowledge Community is a redditor's wet dream but it's still funny.
>DWI
lol. lmao even.
Where is Big Mouth or Big Bang Theory or Bob's Burgers
Reddit hate The Big Bang Theory and Family Guy, they're too lowbrow for them.
Big Mouth is probably in the same camp as Family Guy, most redditors are divided on it. When the show was announced I saw simillar pearl clutching on r/television that I saw here.
Bob's Burgers is a good nomination but it's hardly top 10 as it's not that popular outside of the US (as the movie's box office returns have shown us).
Scrubs is reddit and so is South Park after 2005
Based and agree.
The World of Warcraft episode is peak-Reddit, idc if you're a WOWgay, it's fricking gay and spelt the end for the show.
remove The Wire
add Handmaid's Tale
remove Community
add Brooklyn Nine Nine
okay but what is Cinemaphile's
1. The Sopranos
2. Neon Genesis Evangeilion
3. True Detective (season 1)
4. Mad Men
5. The Simpsons
6. The Shield
7. Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
8. Aqua Teen Hunger Force
9. The Office UK
10. Lost
>True Detective (season 1)
You fricked up Black person. Season 2 is peak Cinemaphile.
YO MR. WHITE
How is Mr Robot in there and GoT (or Soprano) isn't?
Also surprised that The Wires somehow included.
>1. The Office (US)
>2. Mr. Robot
>3. Community
