If I woke up as a nog I would try to jump off a bridge. However, the melanin would probably seep into my brain before I reached it and I'd go rob a Nike store and get tased by da rayciss poe-leece.
>make an alien movie >shoehorn in a whole lot of commentary on trauma, grief, feelings of isolation and """alienation""" that makes your movie not really about aliens at all
The abolute state of modern alien kinos
The alien parts were pretty good. The cgi was cheap but the ship was cool, the aliens sounded crazy, and the abduction scenes were genuinely suspenseful. but I thought the lack of dialogue was an unnecessarily gimmick. The moral of the story being that you should forgive yourself and get therapy and everyone is suffering and not talking about your feelings is alienating everyone from each other felt like a hamfisted and dishonest attempt to "elevate horror".
>In every neighborhood there is one house that adults whisper about and children cross the street to avoid >Nothing supernatural going on, blacks just live there
I’m not black or white but I’m more afraid to be in black neighborhoods with high crime rates vs a white neighborhood where people smile and say hello. Shit like get out is the reason people post openly racist shit about whites but then disregard the shit blacks do
Entertaining the idea that Black perspectives are compelling, how TF was this actually scary to anyone?
>white people want to be in black bodies
lol. lmao
Realistically, it's the other way around.

man I like Us and Nope but this one is just beyond band.
Us is the only Peeleslop I've seen and it was laughably bad.
Nope is his only good flick and this place hates it anyway
It may be his best but it’s still weak and dumb. I wanted to like it but I just couldn’t.

I'll never watch Get Out because it's some interracial blacked nonsense, but are Peele's other movies worth watching?
Nope!
Jordan Peele is black Ari Aster
stick to watching lady ballers
>modern horror
>not mostly garbage
checks out
lots of modern horror is good, you just have to ignore the A24 and Peele stuff
I haven't seen this movie since it came out and I thought it was boring. I was a kid at the time and it's been too long to remember. Was I right?
It was a decent thriller but it was a terrible allegory
