Now that we've seen them in action, what do you think of the new cast? Are they kek or cringe?
Also, what do you hope/expect for the next season?

I want to mating press Emma
join the club
gonna bang the dyke out of axel
she'd peg you so hard you'd turn gay
NTA but I accept these terms
she'd try but I'd pin her down
Yeah because a fat Cinemaphilener could outperform a vicious fit and delusional zombie apocalypse trainer.
>Yeah because a fat Cinemaphilener
speak for yourself
I'm not even joking when I say Chase could have potential as the future host of Total Drama, he's already a sociopath so he's halfway there.
>Priya
She alright, as far as obvious main female characters go, definitely better than Zoey or Sky.
>Millie
Same as Priya, just a bit cringe at times, but I guess that's the point of her character, I also really liked how she completely broke down at the end, kinda wish that could've lasted longer lol.
>Ripper
Massively based, even if he was the designated fart joke character, really looking forward to seeing more of him.
>Damien
A bit boring, but we always kinda need one of those I guess, also I feel like he's going to win the next season right after hooking up with Priya.
>Axel
Predictable, just like Eva, she was strong and capable but also too much of a b***h to get that far, maybe she'll learn to not be a b***h.
>Chase & Emma
Chase is a menace to society and Emma is a dumb b***h, I love them, I just hope they don't make them constantly breaking up and getting together some running gag, either break them up for good (maybe even hook them up with other people), or commit to this toxic relationship.
>Zee
Nice, dumb and wholesome, not too much to say except that I want more creative uses of his leg.
>Scary Girl and MK
Way too cool to be eliminated so early, they have very strong personalities and I really want to see them interact with pretty much everyone more.
>Caleb
Elimination fodder, he just seems like another Justin, maybe he'll surprise me in the next season.
>Nichelle
Somehow, I don't remember anything of her besides that one joke with Julia and the episode where she got eliminated, curious to see how she does in the next season now that we know she's pretty much useless.
>Julia & Bowie
Best antagonists since Heather and Alejandro.
>Wayne & Raj
Fun mix of Tyler and Katie & Sadie, I hope we get to see more of Wayne on his own tho, everything revolved around Raj and his relationship with Bowie so it'd be nice if Wayne also got some interaction with the others on his own.
Julia's not really an antagonist, she's just a c**t
She literally says she's a villain.
She literally got MK out of the game, then became everyone's biggest target so she had to win every immunity challenge or needed others to frick up even harder than she did (Wayne and Raj getting injured, Chase being an idiot). She was definitely an antagonist, arguably even the main one.
The fun thing about this season is that eventhough Julia was the main baddie, she wasn't the only villain like Heather was in TDI. Bowie got people out too, MK had her own sneaky strategy that was later relevant for Bowie's schemes, Ripper was a full on moron that most people wanted gone for being a gross mofo, Chase was an all around dick, Axel was a b***h, Scary Girl was a psycho, and even Zee fricked up at the end in his elimination episode. This was arguably very necessary for the main villains themselves to make it far in the game without making it seem like the show is rigging the game for them, or others get dumbed down just so they can make it further, a common criticism used for pretty much every past villain of the show. This season was way better written than people give it credit for, the only BS elimination of the season was probably Damien's but that's it.
This is why the reboot is the best written season. Because rather than making a single villain who does stuff. Numerous people are backstabbing menaces and/or have zero loyalty. Even the main protagonists: Priya and Millie did what Heather would've done. Make an alliance then immediately drop them when they aren't useful (they did this to Zee and Julia).
Honestly Damien and Zee are the only non-cutthroat characters that aren't in it for them selves or one other person they're close to. We don't know enough about Caleb or Nichelle and the Hockey Bros were too wrapped up in gay gay homosexual gay to show any allegiance either way but they'd probably be in the "do anything to keep each other in" category
It's an easy guess that Caleb and Nichelle are cutthroat. I don't think it's a coincedence that Caleb was placed on a new team primarily consisting of people charmed by him and Nichelle has an endgame attitude. Saying stuff like "let's finish this" and being very game oriented. It's also implied that she worked with Bowie to vote off Caleb for being a massive threat.
Wayne and Raj could go either way. They were just nerfed in S1. Bowie having more allies would've made the season lopsided. Emma and Chase were enough for Bowie.
I feel like the writers definitely binged reality shows before writing this season.
The monologue eliminations where they share their thoughts, as well as having multiple characters feel like they're actually trying to win strategically.
I assume it's moreso the writers going a different direction than binging. Total Drama had Survivor elements they just never took them seriously. They didn't care for consistent writing and atmosphere much. Characters flipped motivations and behaviors constantly. The main executive directors now approached an idea that still parodies Survivor but does it more earnestly than Total Drama's past.
Julia best girl. Even before her antagonist reveal.
Caleb is asking for his cheeks to be spread.
I really hate that only a handful of characters get last names.
Chubby
Bubbles/Eleanor acquired
Honestly Julia is pretty GOATed, just as good as Heather in some ways.
White woman moment
No, if anyone is a rug muncher, it's Izzy
Go white girl go!
I have not seen this season is it good?
It's widely thought of as a return to form and really good.
I liked it and I'm pretty critical. After the hell with Revenge, Pahkitew, All Stars, it was nice to get this 2023 season.
Original is still supreme due to the breathing room imo.
How would you rank the seasons?
Island > World > Ridonculous > 2023 > Action >>>>>> Revenge > Pahkitew > All-Stars
Would have to rewatch Action, but I think 2023 was the better quality season despite having less episodes.
2023 is probably the most quality season overall, honestly, just held back by the 13 episodes. But we were promised two seasons with them from the start so after that happens we basically will have had a 26 episode season with them and they could easily take the top spot.
Could be right, the writing felt a lot more natural.
based. 2023 is the best written and I'm glad others feel a similar way.
My biggest criticism with 2023 is that instead of having 2 final episodes, they squished the 2 final eliminations into 1, the penultimate challenge felt more like a final challenge than the actual final challenge.
I’m pretty critical too Anon. Reading your review gives me more confidence to watch this show at some point because we have the same rank.
Yes
I want more character interaction than focus on the challenges. That was what made TDI and TDA so good.
The male cast is solid but the female cast is kind of weak. Maybe season 2 will fix that but the only two who felt fully realized was just Julia and MK.
No Millie? Millie had an entire arc. She felt more realized than MK did, MK got abruptly cut off.
Millie was just kinda there tbh. If she was more analytical about everyone else then maybe she could've left a bigger impression on me.
I get not liking her but there's no way you can really call Emma weak or not fully realized. If anything she's too fleshed out cause people can't seem to look at all of her traits and just devolve into "muh Chase" every time much like the character herself
What exactly is her character outside of complaining about Chase?
Emma is kind, supportive, and an awkward mess of a person in general. You can really see it in her interactions outside of Chase.
So she was totally in the closet right?
If any girl was in the closet, I'm gonna say it was Gwen, she definitely woul've had blue hair and pronouns had she been born later.
I want Ripper to get a gf
>millie unable to comprehend why she was happy seeing ripper achieve his goal
>ripper helping out millie with her priya problems
Your ship, Sir.
That's actually exactly what I'm hoping for lol, would be cute seeing Millie get past Ripper's abrasiveness.
Imagine Priya's reaction.
Kino
The fact that Ripper is now in the opposing team could actually bring more drama, I still remember Courtney and Heather giving Tyler and Lindsay shit for flirting with each other.
if only Ripper was still on the same team, this would be an actual fun drama between them and a reason for them to be in the season
I have no idea what they're gonna do with them otherwise except a forced Primien ship
Priya and Damien aren't any less forced than Millie and Ripper. There's nothing really forced about it, it's natural.
Julia is obviously the main character of these 2 new seasons. They can’t end her arc while she’s generally hated because blah blah they learned from their past mistakes. She will naturally get her redemption & will start acting nice again when all is said and done.
No way she won’t make it far.
She's not getting a redemption in just two seasons. That's not happening, if she does get one it'd be over the course of multiple like Heather.
>you wake up on camp wawanakwa as a total drama contestant
what do you do
Float.
Tell Lindsay that I'm Tyler
Win that million.
Surprisingly good. I just wished they would drop the 13 format it does NOT do them any favors.
The cast and this season in general would be way more appreciated by the normies if it wasn't for saberspark and that shitty fart episode. Also Chris getting a new voice. Also slay being used in the theme song. Literally the only things that went viral on twitter, while everything else was ignored wtf. Cartoon Network is also a fricking dumb retarted ass company for not banking on this season and letting other countries air it first. Italy will release the 2nd season before the US will even announce an airdate for the first season. In case the show will continue fans should be prepared for a VERY long ass hiatus.
It truly is over isn't it?
>Italy will release the 2nd season before the US will even announce an airdate for the first season.
WHY the frick are they doing this?
>intentionally cheesy parody show makes an intentionally cheesy "modern" parody version of their theme song
>people get mad
"slay" is the funniest fricking thing they could have done. I love that boomer-zoomer ass line.
Glad you understand the assignment.
I won't be surprised if Julia will have sex with Chase to mess with Emma
>Whatsapp
Why would they put show in a 3rd world country?
Yo estoy muy bien, ¿y tú cómo estas?
En todo momento pienso en tí.
Me preguntaste que quiero ser
Y la respuesta vas a tener
Yooo quiero seeeer, famosoooo.
Nana nanana nana nanana nana nanaaaa
Yo quiero ser, yo quiero ser, quiero ser famoso
MUCHOS PELIGROS PUEDO PASAR
TODO LO PUEDO SOPORTAR
NADA EN MI CAMINO PODRÁ DETENER
LO QUE YO QUIERO SER
YO QUIERO SEEEER FAMOSOOOO
Unironically the LatAm Spanish OP theme sounds rythmically better. Somehow the English original lyrics sound off-key at spots.
>Also, what do you hope/expect for the next season?
Someone will go bald.
>hope
>Caleb nude
>expect
>Ripper nude
Julia and Bowie were S-tier
>Julia because she decided to drop her granola-girl act and Bowie because he booted out Caleb
I liked Emma until she turned around and went back with her ex,
Ripper is overrated,
I liked Priya and her relationship with Millie
MK and Michelle were meh
Scary Girl seemed cool, but very One-note
Wayne and Raj were bros and I really liked their friendship
Caleb was a non-entity
I wish we had seen more of Axel, but I
Zee was okay
and Damien seemed fine, I liked how he got around actually enjoying the competition, and then he got kicked out
Ripper is the most hated character of the cast for farting so much and every Scary Girl and Axel fan hates his stinky ass, how the frick is he overrated? Cinemaphile is probably the only place where people get his stereotype and find him funny for it, but most people take him to face value and hate him, same thing with Chase, but Chase has slightly more fans because he has an attractive design and doesn't fart every episode.
I'll be real, at first I thought I would hate Ripper for his fart jokes but upon rewatching I realised he's the only character that actually makes fart jokes funny. Instead of the joke being "teehee stinky fart XDD" it's all about how absurd his goals and passion for it is, the fact that his first fart is just shutting up Millie/Damien and counting to 10 out of nowhere is fricking hilarious. Grossout humour is sadly gonna stay a permanent part of this series, but I hope they continue to approach it like they did with Ripper where the character's weirdness sells the punchline instead of just "lol fat person go brap"
Some of Owen's farts are funny too because the others have funny reactions to them, Noah, Duncan and Heather for example always react to his grossout jokes in a funny way.
The farts in ep 5 of the reboot tho are just emberrasing to even watch, like Emma doing the marilyn monroe pose, or Chase's ass being weirdly well animated for no fricking reason while he's farting, nothing funny came out of those except maybe Ripper using Millie's pilllow to shut up his own ass, that was mildly funny. Also Zee holding Chase's buttcheeks together, then getting turned on by Chase's ass, arguably the gayest moment of the entire season and also one of the funniest.
Julia verbally destroying the raptor was fricking hilarious.
Why did they do it?
>It was just a prank bro
the black girl is the same character in total dramarama that was complacent in keeping a cartoon from another dimension trapped on lockdown in order to farm his toon nature for content to market at children and make endless money off of
she is a menace to society
One of these days I need to watch Dramarama, sounds pretty fricking unhinged.
They wanted to be involved with the show but were smart enough not to audition themselves.
>Give the asian girl yellow skin and squinty eyes
How'd they get away with it in [CURRENT YEAR]?
Cancel mob wasn't paying attention...at least
They didn't. She got whitewashed after the first airing in Italy.
Is this real?
It's real. You can see it in the promotional BBC game and the facebook labels as well.
So is that her look for season 2?
Nah it's just her canon design now.
please go back to being racisr
The first one was cartoonishly asian but this one doesn't look asian at all, they should've gone for a subtler mix of yellow and caucasian.
Compare her to other Asian girls like Heather.
And Emma.
Where do you guys watch this?
Here's a MEGA link with all the episodes.
https://mega.nz/folder/kcVXlarY#kgCV4tzYuWndVHbVwIJfVg
Alternatively, you can just watch it on KimCartoon.
Thank you.
scoot
Still the best.
can't boot the scoot
There are two white dudes, and one looks like the antagonist from Boyfriend to Death (who was also in Canada)
Ripper?
Ripper isn't white, he's Italian.
Will they re-script Scary girl elimimation?
After that leak it would moronic if not
Why would it be moronic? The other characters make sense to go farther and the animation is already completed, it'd be more moronic if they rescripted it.
man, i hate priya
me too man
we should form an alliance
Priya already won, I really hope they don't let her make it that far.
