All Stars 2 will most likely be the dramarama cast (teenage versions) vs gen 4 cast and 26 episodes that way fresh can market to both old fans, and gen alpha that grew up watching dramarama and reboot as well

I tried to have the cast be 22 just like the first season, but I ran out of non-mergers. I even had to put Dave there instead of Sam even though Dave did merge, but Sam was in All Stars despite never merging
I just singled them out because there's no attempt of them having any real character aside from elimination fodder. Even Ezekiel had a bit more to him.
I guess I could take them out and put Trent and Bridgette, they did merge but were eliminated pretty quickly after and then performed horrible the next seasons

Rewatching the first season of the reboot and loving it even more the second time. This reboot is such a breath of fresh air after the slog of the last few seasons in the main line.
Janis (left) and Regina George (right) are two characters from Mean Girls who act exactly like Julia and MK did in season 1. In the movie, it is rumoured Janis has/had a crush on Regina George. Janis is also very grungy/angsty whereas Regina George is the 2004 equivalent of Julia.

“A bit smarter” isn’t that big of a deal, but Wayne has more heart though, he might be dumber but he instantly saw Julia as their non-enemy when put together.
Honestly he felt way smarter in season one, when he acted more as the leader and actively strategized nonstop. It was usually Raj who waited for Wayne to command and then supported his ideas.
Yeah he was the de facto leader in the last team, but this season he let that position to Bowie since he was technically Team Skunk's official leader. And we only saw Wayne and Raj in the merge for one episode

He knows he was dragged the whole competition and feeling like a tool fueled his insecurieties and made him be a drama sponge until he finally put his head into the game.

I think a tropical island with beautiful beaches, vast jungles/ rainforest, and exotic animals that are beautiful and dangerous, many poisonous plants and animals, why haven't we gotten a tropical island setting yet? alt endings were fun because we got to see what would happen if other finalist won and the fact that different countries could choose their own winner, now that novelty is gone, it feels like lost an element of this series
The alternate endings also provided a little bit of closure to the winner's personal arc. We didn't really get ANYTHING with Bowie, and everyone the following season decided to randomly hate him more than even Julia. Very weird writing choices.

People will argue that kids do, but I gotta be honest, even when I was young I never found farts all that funny. Or at least it was pretty rare they'd get a laugh out of me.
Priya is way more likeable than Zoey. For starters it's reasonable for her to be such a powerhouse since she spent her whole fricking life training for this. And still she commits mistakes, since she's been to focused in training there wasn't time for her to polish her social skills and do stuff normal girls would do. Zoey's skills came out of no where and her only boring flawn is how gulliable she can be. Also she goes back to back from damsel in distress to badass nonchalantly, which doesn't make sense.
I’m going to say that Priya is overhated. She is probably the weakest of the girls, but you stick her on Revenge or Pahkitew and she really isn’t that bad.
If you put her on Revenge she's still the weakest girl. Even Zoey was able to do be entertaining for at least 2 seconds with Commando Zoey, and she only scrapes by in Pahkitew by Amy being a non-character.

Reminder we are still in season 1 of the reboot. All official sources refer to it under 1 season. We should all call it season 1.5 instead of season 2. Calling it "season 2" is something the fandomc came up with. So with that said all 26 episode seasons are actually TDI, TDA, TDWT, Ridonculous, and the Reboot
No. That's stupid. Everyone knows these two seasons are two parts of a whole but muddying it up with a ".5" label has no purpose.
All Stars and PI are also technically the same season and PI is officially considered Season 5.5, but you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who wants to call it that instead of Season 6.
Go to the credits of every "season 2" episode and it still says season 1 lol. The reboot is a 26 episode season divided into 2 parts. All websites refer to the episodes as 14-26 (not 1-13) as well
Action had 14 then reduced to 12 in the first episode, this cast is 16 and we know they would've probably made two or four more additional characters if they had a whole 26 episode season to work with instead two 13 episode seasons.
I also notice that in the first three seasons, the merge always seemed to happen later for some reason >Island: Episode 15 >Action: Episode 16 >World Tour: Episode 19
I always hated the World Tour merge happening so late. Especially when it had two characters brought in mid-season and one of which was thrown away immediately. It really just felt like the final 4 + Courtney's baggage.

Team Victory was the sacrificial lamb so Team Amazon and Team Chris could have all the character development. It's a good plot device imo, it gave the first half of the season the proper build up it needed.

I always found odd that Chris just let team Victory die pre-merge, normally when a team is so bad that they can't stop taking Ls the production behind the show decides to put the few members left on the other teams or rearrange all 3 teams into 2 to not make the elimination order so predictable.
I think the closest thing to team victory I can think of is the tribe of Ulong from Survivor but even in that case it was just 2 teams and at least 1 member from Ulong made it to the merge

I mean, this is somewhat similar to what happened on Action. The Killer Grips sucked so badly, they had to bring Izzy back and then give them Courtney, and members for the other team (Gwen and DJ) had to basically give up for them to even lose
Most characters from team victory picks sucked except Leshawna, they had no interesting stuff to bring to the season. Feel like if the brought Trent at least he could add something to the main drama

The writers are weird about that. After Island ended, I would say Gwen was one of the most popular characters in the show, but then Action they cut her extremely early.
Same with Heater in All-Stars
They seem to be ok with cutting their "main" characters in other seasons only when it comes to some of them
in my opinion the merge should never have less than 10 characters and it's a big reason why RoTI/AS/PI sucked
once you get to around 8 or 7 or so characters left you're stuck with all the important cast members and the ones that are usually attached by the hips to another person in the cast, so there's very little room for the strategy and individuality aspect of the game when you have 3 or 4 little duos and maybe one little shitter in the background that's just there to be thrown away in a comedy elimination
I really miss when Chris sort of kinda cared about the contestants, or at least somewhat liked some of them. Like I always had the idea he kind of liked Owen. And when Geoff was voted off in Island he noted the game became a lot less fun with him gone.

TDI 2023 got announced earlier than expected as damage control since Fresh DMCAd a fan project someone was trying to monetize, so the fans started sending the crew death threats, and they had to have Potenza do an interview for the fandom and mention how they had TDI 2023 in the works.

To be fair on Aiden, even if he is an hypocrite I think by the end of his season he is emotionally mature enough to realise by himself his own issues and how unfair he was to James. He knows he was dragged the whole competition and feeling like a tool fueled his insecurieties and made him be a drama sponge until he finally put his head into the game.
Jake always depended on somebody (Tom, Miriam or Ellie) to do shit since he couldn't do anything for himself, and the ungrateful c**t always blamed other people for his own shortcomings when "I'm sorry lmao" didn't solve his problems. He was never focused in the game, and even sabottaged his whole team beacuse of a stupid argument he had with only Tom.
When Aiden apologized to James it felt genuine, and Aiden backed up his apology with a sacrifice to give James the chance to win the competition in place of his own change. When Jake apologized to Tom and met with rejection he INSTANTLY blamed the whole situation to Ellie. When the competition was over he still chose to victimize himself, and Tom undeserbedly had to admit he had part to blame so they could make up.

Priya is way more likeable than Zoey. For starters it's reasonable for her to be such a powerhouse since she spent her whole fricking life training for this. Go to the credits of every "season 2" episode and it still says season 1 lol. The reboot is a 26 episode season divided into 2 parts. All websites refer to the episodes as 14-26 (not 1-13) as well

Action had 14 then reduced to 12 in the first episode, this cast is 16 and we know they would've probably made two or four more additional characters if they had a whole 26 episode season to work with instead two 13 episode seasons.

WT's team phase lasted a bit too long and we know it's because they wanted to protect Heather
I always hated the World Tour merge happening so late. Especially when it had two characters brought in mid-season and one of which was thrown away immediately. It really just felt like the final 4 + Courtney's baggage.

It was extremely funny how every time Team Victory wasn't last place it turned out to be a reward challenge.

I don't get why they did the same on the New York episode though, the one who was probably going to be eliminated there wasn't going to be Alejandro, probably Noah

Team Victory was the sacrificial lamb so Team Amazon and Team Chris could have all the character development. It's a good plot device imo, it gave the first half of the season the proper build up it needed.
I agree. Having a third team just to take the L every time was fine. I get why people are upset by it but it helped the story way more than it harmed it.
My only real problems with it were

Lindsay could have had a really thematically appropriate plotline of being stuck between Heather and Al both trying to get her to side with them, both conclusively showing that Lindsay won't be used again and to help sell Heather's anti-hero story by having her redeem her relationship with Lindsay a small bit. But no, we gotta have epic animal curse joke 30. Ha ha DJ go scream again.

Yeah but at that point Alejandro already had Tyler wrapped around his finger, so it would feel weird if Lindsay was show to be resistant to his charm while her boyfriend wasn't
I always found odd that Chris just let team Victory die pre-merge, normally when a team is so bad that they can't stop taking Ls the production behind the show decides to put the few members left on the other teams or rearrange all 3 teams into 2 to not make the elimination order so predictable.
I think the closest thing to team victory I can think of is the tribe of Ulong from Survivor but even in that case it was just 2 teams and at least 1 member from Ulong made it to the merge

I mean, this is somewhat similar to what happened on Action. The Killer Grips sucked so badly, they had to bring Izzy back and then give them Courtney, and members for the other team (Gwen and DJ) had to basically give up for them to even lose
It'd be one thing if it was made up of characters no one cared about, but most of Team Victory were fan favorites, so it felt especially dumb.
Most characters from team victory picks sucked except Leshawna, they had no interesting stuff to bring to the season. Feel like if the brought Trent at least he could add something to the main drama

The writers are weird about that. After Island ended, I would say Gwen was one of the most popular characters in the show, but then Action they cut her extremely early.

in my opinion the merge should never have less than 10 characters and it's a big reason why RoTI/AS/PI sucked
once you get to around 8 or 7 or so characters left you're stuck with all the important cast members and the ones that are usually attached by the hips to another person in the cast, so there's very little room for the strategy and individuality aspect of the game when you have 3 or 4 little duos and maybe one little shitter in the background that's just there to be thrown away in a comedy elimination

TDI 2023 got announced earlier than expected as damage control since Fresh DMCAd a fan project someone was trying to monetize, so the fans started sending the crew death threats, and they had to have Potenza do an interview for the fandom and mention how they had TDI 2023 in the works.
