>The big shootout is completely ridiculous. The mercenary group/gay detective subplots are completely ridiculous.
you're a gay >S3 is good.
a super gay
It felt like the wanted a mid season action climax like the confrontation with Ledoux from season 1. Except they didn't think this one through and had fricking gangbangers basically terror attack the city and murder a dozen cops. It was so outrageous in an otherwise grounded series it left me wondering what the frick was I watching.
Season 2 would have done well to remove Gay Biker Cop. he was a fine character but too much in what was already a crowded cast. unless they had the balls to make this 12 episodes.
Season 1 is a 10. Season 2 is an 8. The drop is what pissed so many people off. Season 3 is a 6. Season 4 has been so fricking bad I'm not going any further to rate it the 3 it probably is.
Having said that Season 2 is generally pretty good but the gay cop and Vince should've been minor characters and not as prominent as they were.
The focus should've been squarely on Velcro and Rachel and their respective arcs and collaboration.
It just felt too overloaded and consequently the main intrigue was almost irrelevant.
Take her away? Who? How? What does that mean? If you think she's that great go watch Yellerstone. It's nothing but her overacting with smeared mascara every chance she gets. And macho cowboy shit.
The problem with season three, is the time jump. Flashing back and forth worked great in the first season, but in the third, it kills any suspense in the earlier stuff because they tell you right away how that part's going to end. If they'd just played it chronologically, it would've been a million times better.
until recently most of Cinemaphile loved it. I think the influx of redditors over the last few years is what has skewed the numbers now though, because we all know redditors are a bunch of troony morons with horrible taste.
point being: yes True Detective season 2 is absolute kino, almost on par with the first season actually.
I haven't seen it so I don't know.
8ts also important to note that "good" is subjective

S3 is good.

Pizza boy needs to call it a day.
Pizza has nothing to do with S4, and S3 is also an 8.
She also likes getting fricked in the ass, sometimes.
pretty sure her kink was rough stuff
Season 1 is a hard act to follow up.

Kelly Reilly is kino, and frick anyone who tries to take her away.

and israelite propaganda
schizo sees israelites everywhere
They did have that scene shilling circumcision
They literally are everywhere moron. israeli Privilege is very real and needs to be dismantled.
I liked Vince Vaughn, his wife and the pregnancy subplot dragged things down a bit.
I disagree. It's of higher quality than the new season for sure, but easily the weakest of the first three seasons. So, pretty good compared to what?

Okay. Still better than season two I thought.
Frick what you thought, butthole.
Take it easy, anon. You know the wine makes you emotional.
That's because I'm posting on an empty fricking stomach
the pacing was just too terrible and too many characters
no need to cope about it

All your doing is baiting for an argument. That's coming from someone who likes season 2 just as much as the first.
Every single modern LA cop/law show is better than S2
Shield
Bosch
Ray Donovan
Pacific Blue
Goliath
Lincoln Lawyer
The list goes on. Failed attempt at a genre that's basically solved at this point.
You're just saying that to be contrarian. Like the morons who pretend to like season 2 of The Wire.
>contrarian
Dumb frick reddit Black person zoomer
Season 2 of the Wire was awesome. So was season 5. They were all amazing.
the only people who dont like Season 2 of The Wire are Black folk filtered by Ziggy's Big White wiener
it was pretty good but lose the female and gay cop characters
