I dream of individualized movies and edits. Imagine how great it would be if you have the bad version and the good version of a movie or series. Well if you're into anime lurk Cinemaphile and especially pay attention to whenever a thread about old (80s - 90s) anime pops up. As an older guy to me it's all more organic since I already have an awareness of older stuff since it's "my stuff" so to speak. As for literature just... go into the great beyond of anything written prior to the 1990s, though the cut off date is probably around early 2000s. I primarily read non-fiction so fiction books aren't really my territory.
