a man of his wealth and status wouldn't be doing such a menial, lowly, and laborious task, especially during wartime. which is why the hacks thought this show-invented scene would be a good idea. even during season 1 they revealed how incompetent they were when left with taking initiative at creative writing.

The books suck ass, dude. Grrrm knows nothing about medieval times and his writing style is amateurish at best.

Check out the deleted scene were he's fishing

that one is at least plausible because fishing is a relaxing hobby and Tywin needs to unwind somehow.

personally I don't see the appeal of fishing unless you're planning on eating your catch. but catch and releasegays? oh shit Black person what are you doing. catch and release and "sport" fishing is completely fricking moronic and tantamount to animal abuse. no one tolerates catching a dog or cat, poking a hole in it's mouth, then letting it go, do they? I don't see how anyone can justify such a hobby. it's pure mental gymnastics whenever they try to.

again, no problem with fishing if you're actually going to eat the fricking thing. but catch and release fishing is stupid as hell and nothing short of culturally grandfathered animal abuse.

Yea it sucks but if the catch is too small better just release it. Otherwise I always eat whatever I get, or give to family members

            >better just release it.
Why? So that it can slowly die in the water? moronic

They likely survive and grow, if not, something will eat it as it's injured and easy prey

Check out the deleted scene where he scratches his balls. So deep. The metaphor is so well done. Not in the books either by the way.

This was improvised by Charles Dance, not for the reason of symbolism, foreshadowing or anything like that, he just felt that it'd be cool for his character to skin an animal in his intro scene. From memory, he wasn't a bookgay either

The show was being carried by a handful of great actors

Yeah, he improvised this scene. A stag wandered onto the set, he killed it randomly and started skinning. The best things in movies and TV shows are always improvised. According to imdb trivia.

And that's how GOT was made. Immature npc normalgays love talk about their favorite softcore that that they saw yesterday. And that's what they did.
