Pretty sure the Colony Public Corporation was always from UC, it was the state-owned company that built and maintained the colonies. They were namedropped mentioned in Zeta and Stardust.

There are two organizations with the same name (コロニー公社) in the UC and 00.
00 is probably an alternative universe to UC. Aeolia and Veda derailed nuclear energy so instead of UC technological progress got screwed up and the GN drives were unleashed like a tidal wave in the 2300s
>a 20+ year old MS fitted with 10+ year old anti-ship missile system is registered as a "mobile worker suit"
Right.. and I guess the CPC is using these to clean up colony wreckage?
It's literally called the "Warring Space States" era, where supposedly some colonies got uppity and attacked each other/the feds. Only examples we ever saw were the Crossbone Vanguard and the Jupiter empire.
If any era could get away with the same overcrowding that the OYW gets, or even possibly benefit from it, it's the U.C.120's-140's. GIVE us more stuff from this era, put as many F9(x) gundams in there as you like; there's room for them. U.C. is more than Zeon shenanigans. I'd like a 25 episode series taking place around this time far more than I would another AU or OVA adaptation.
the entire period from like UC 100 to 150 has potential for absolute wild west shit all over the place. No large scale conflicts barring a few arguable exceptions, certainly nothing on par with Zeon, and instead PMCs, personal armies and other independent factions can thrive and plausibly use anything ranging from brand new SNRI or Anaheim sponsored prototypes, to as far back as One Year War stuff. In F90 FF alone there are GM IIIs equipped with MRX-002 parts or Full Armor Gundam parts, to Zaku III with heavy Geara Zulu's backpack or goddamn Queen Mansa.
The entire warring space states era is a goldmine for potential future stories and hundreds upon hundreds of designs.
>GIVE us more stuff from this era
Warring Space State was proposed by Tomino himself, and also "cancelled" by Tomino himself.
According to Kouichi Inoue, Tunehisa Itou's original script for F91 story a larger scale of the war has been mentioned. Tomino then wrote it off and cut that short for the movie.
Hasegawa picked the tiny bits up later and started Crossbone Gundam.
Sauce? The original f91 tv series proposal only included the war between the Crossbone Vanguard and Jupiter Empire, but it was still pretty small with the Jupiter Empire consisting of like one city
According to zeonic's translation of the alleged draft it's pretty different from the one in Hasegawa's manga. Seabook is still the hero of the story and the crossbone vanguard are basically privateers in the federation's "war" against the Jupiter Fleet corporation, which the Jupiter Empire is formed around. Since the federation doesn't recognize it as a nation, just a private corporation, their solution is to just let pirates raid their ships and wash their hands of it, but eventually the Crossbone Vanguard and the Jupiter Empire, both of which are based on Jupiter's moons, go into direct conflict.

Also, Mark Simmons linked to an F91 draft over on Zeonic's site too and that doesn't mention anything about a war either so anon is just pulling shit from their ass.
Hasegawa didn't pick up those tiny bits. He was forced into doing a Gundam project. The only way he agreed was taking Tomino's draft and doing whatever the hell he wanted with it. Nothing that he did for GHOST/DUST illustrates anything that was planned.

monkey's paw: the protag is another zaku pilot
A GM Command upgraded with GM III's parts? Interesting. The Luna II's GM Command is built on a different frame to the Jaburo's GM lineage, so I wonder how much part compatibility there is between a GM Command and GM III?
Darry Neil Guns (MC of Double-Fake) worked for SNRI as a support developer in setting up Stark GM.
>Double fake acknowledged
Colored me surprised
Colony Public Corporation purchased a lot of F8 series MS from SNRI to build their own army.
Going to see F8 series soon.
No, we won't ever be seeing the F8.
Huh, I though Colony Public Corporation was from 00. Nice to see the universes starting to merge.

great, more gundam ace slop

And Warcrimes, and human rights violations. And the sequel to colony dropping into a planet: Colony dropping into a Colony

Interesting

This sounds like it would have way more sauce for a potential anime adaptation than the manga tbh

I just want the people of the UC to live in peace for once, bros
Seems like it's becoming another "In the Grim Darkness of the {TIME} there is only War."
At least the OYW - UC0100 focus means we get a troubled 20 years or so
The /m/ore the /m/errier
