I'm tired of the epic store excuse, this moviegame shit should be selling on consoles, playstation in particular, but the reality is that nobody gives a shit. It's a sequel 10 years later to a game that didn't do so hot that stars a fricking black woman, what the frick did they expect?
im one of those AW cultists that had everything related to the first game, including all the books and collectors edition material and other collectibles and merch, i mean i was one hardcore motherfricking fanboy, and i still love the first game and its my favorite ever single player game, but good fricking grief if i didn't hate fricking everything about the 2nd except the soundtrack. Poets of the Fall just doesn't disappoint, they are incapable of that. in every other front i fricking hated it and it felt like a fricking chore to play through and through outside a few very short levels
and it's not just the how it felt like a job to force myself to finish it, i also hated that sheboon and her condescending tone at everyone, and the fact that she literally has a line that says basically "frick wypipo" in a sweet baby inc softcore way (its "just another fricking white guy telling me what to do)
the graphics were pretty good, and the scener in bright falls was great. but then i wanted to wander 3 meters away from the cop car as saga to take a look at the town i'd seen many times from12 years of re-playing the first game a couple times, and it told me to get the frick back in the basically on-rails story. the first game had drivable cars and all the freedom in the world to explore and this game didn't even have that. for as linear as the levels are, they are also a confusing fricking mess, and it was fricking annoying the entire way
the intentional bullshit puzzle spam only felt like an artificial way to make the game longer to justify the price as well, they were not clever or intuitive or fun, and if i have to watch a fricking youtube video on where to stand on a parking lot to get forward instead of spending 4 hours jerking off trying to find it, its the polar opposite of what i want from a video game. its not a skill issue, its shit design

ive watched first 2 seasons of twin peaks, is it necessary to watch the third to get anything from this movie? its been on my list forever
