Physical game copies are pretty useless, more often than not they are not even 1.0 copies, they are pre release that need a day one patch. Sometimes it doesn't even have a disc, they have just a keycode.

Most of them buying Fallout games will inevitably get bored after a few hours of playing them and look to get refunds or sell them
FO4 is great when you're doing the side quests but the main quest line got increasingly moronic until I eventually just stopped doing main line quests altogether, did as many side quests as I could before I got bored/too overpowered for any of it to be interesting anymore and then dropped the game forever. FO4 was also my first FO game and it came with a code for FO3, FO3 was a better game.

Don't worry, Bethesda put out a 14gb update that doesn't fix or change anything and breaks the game even more a few days ago.
What was that update?
It was called the Next Gen Update or something. It was suppose to update graphics, fix bugs, and improve performance especially for consoles, but even if you can get your game to launch anymore it doesn't appear to do any of those and indeed does the reverse, tanking everything and adding even more bugs. It also nearly entirely breaks modded games by invalidation foundational mods that nearly every mod works on. All-in-all, a very classic Todd move.
I've been playing it on my steam deck today and luckily it's been fine. But yeah the typical Bethesda move of somehow breaking things more. Looking forward to the inevitable next gen Starfield update that's just Todd coming to your house to set your PC on fire.
