I will bomb. No DC character with the exception of Batman has the potential to put up high box office numbers (Aquaman is an anomaly and only made so much because China loved it). Even then, the Pattison Batman movie was a bit underwhelming box office wise. Consider that back in 2013 before the complete destruction of the DC brand, cape movie fatigue, and the rise of streaming Man of Steel only made around $650 million. It is certain to make less then that today which is pretty unacceptable.

This. DC brand is ruined. Superhero fatigue is real. Only SpiderMan is doing good. Every capeshit movie since End Game had massive second weekend drops.

i don't know if Superman is a character you can revive the DC movie brand with in a single movie. people love Clark, but he's kind of a one dimensional character. i don't know what compelling villain you'd put the guy up against anymore either since Zodd, Darkseid, and Doomsday need to be as far away from this movie universe as possible until the first or second Justice League movie. Braniac? except he's kinda weird and abstract, and you'd need him to underestimate Clark and escape with his life at the end so you could use him in a Justice League movie too. maybe Lobo if they write it in such a way that there's a greater, 3rd party villain who's hired Lobo to soften Clark up for him that Superman and Lobo can put their differences aside to defeat at the end. but then you still have the same problem of needing another compelling villain. lol

it will bomb because Gunn can’t fricking write. He literally has negative talent

I think both WB and Disney are stupid and stubborn enough to keep making capeshit bomb after bomb for at least another 5 years.

If it bombs? WB is screwed. I mean, they really need this movie to succeed. If it doesn't, they'll simply have to file for bankruptcy and sell a whole bunch of assets.

Why does she look so much worse here than she did in that Maisel show? Aging is rough, but did she always have that MASSIVE chin and I never noticed? It’s like her head shape has completely changed.

elder God tier taste. i watched and will rewatch this movie almost exclusively for her, Ezra Miller's Barry Allen realizing how annoying he is by proxy through younger Barry, how spooky purple Savitar is, and the end. cause that shit where young Barry blows up at older Barry and yells "IT'S TOO LATE. I. AM. THE FLASH." did kinda give me chills.

It's not funny how this dude doesn't have one bad looking part yet he looks so much worse than Cavill? Cavill has British teeth and nw3 hairline and he mogs a guy with 0 flaws hard. What explains that?

Nothing is ever going to kill capeshit in the sense that there will be some capeshit movie or series of movies will be so bad that Hollywood will stop churning out cape movies. Something one day will replace capeshit movies. Whatever it is will be or become just as bad capeshit movies in terms of plots action sequences and comedy. It may have some different gimmick But it will be the new easy to please action movie trend era of movies.

If anyone at Warner Bros had a brain in their head they'd have hit the ground running after ending the old DC film universe and beat Marvel to Young Avengers before they got through this filler phase introducing all their new post-Endgame characters.

Capeshit is a zombie genre. No Way Home was good because of nostalgia, and that was it.
