Trans people are mentally deluded men and women with dysphoria. If you are talking about the khatooey's (ladyboys) of Thailand they are still biologically male and no amount of make and surgery will ever get rid of their Y-chromosome, nor give them the ability to bare children.

Humans have two genders. You are born as either, and at this point in time you cannot actually transition into the other one although full body swaps might allow it in the future. What people choose to identify or roleplay as is another thing entirely, but as long as you're born a male YWNBAW (with current medical technology).

I'd argue that if your consciousness can be transplanted from your original male body into a new vat-grown body that is biologically a 100% real female, then yes, you actually are able to transition from male to female (or vice versa). This is a valid point, but I'm not sure how much it would matter in practice. Yes, I do believe that the hypothetical future people who have received a bodyswap in the way I've described have a clear obligation to be upfront and honest about their bodyswap(s) and original genders to potential sexual or romantic partners. Some people may not be into anything other than a partner of the opposite gender in their original body, in the same way that a present-day male might not find a passing troony attractive once he learns it's a troony.

But then a lot of people probably wouldn't care that much, and some might actually prefer a bodyswapped partner for various reasons. Take a man who wants a woman who is geuninely into being an ultra-submissive, air-headed housewife that is completely controlled by her husband and worships his dick. An autogynephilic man bodyswapped into a female bimbo body is perfect for this, as he would both love the scenario and probably be way hornier than many regular women.

The singularity scenario makes total sense, yes, but at the same time, people are fricking weird. no, that is why I refused to define any gender. I am unable to. If a cis woman through some terrible accident lost her vegana she would not cease to be a woman, so it is something more than just genitals. It is a collection of behaviors, physical characteristics, and social characteristics, and is not all encompassing, not everything that one would ascribe to women is required for someone to be a woman, and some men may display some of those aspects without failing to be a man.
