I think it just culled the zombie hunger and made him slightly more sane. Exile in khert seemed to be what made him crazy. Though given what we have seen he was still a crazy killer in real life
It is interesting that Tittybird's keikaku seems to have gone off without a hitch so far. Everyone who expected something different--Duane, Prakhuta, Sette, Anadyne--has merely been caught up in her schemes, and everyone else's schemes--Sonorie's, Bell's, the Black Tongues'--have been revealed to merely be subschemes in HER schemes.
Who are the real wild cards left? Bastion and Ruck, I guess? Bastion knows ALL of her plans and, in theory, knows how to counter them. While Ruck... I don't know what his plans are, but they don't appear to be connected to what Ilganyag wants. Maybe he has NO plan, which would still be not going along with Ilganyag's.
I think you're on to something. Tittybird has spent enough time in the khert to read, outwit, and guide the plans of humans, but Ruck having his own khert and alien mentality (compared to humans) makes him a true wildcard. He doesn't have a plan now besides harming Sonorie, but Bastion could leak Tittybird's and Ruck's jealous and envious nature might overpower his need to hide himself away.
Well she does have the benefit of being inside the vault containing everything that has or will happen and can manipulate it to some degree. She would have to be really incompetent get outplayed with the deck stacked so hard in her favor.
idk as Minnow confirmed that at least one past Sette has existed. Perhaps there has been a few attempts to escape the khert.

Sette is a special case, she’s a god incarnation - most likely Tirna.
What applies to her doesn’t apply generally.

Yeah Ruck is a wildcard, but he’s not a forever trump, not a true joker.
Give him the choice between soul rape and not, and you aren’t left guessing as to where his choice will fall.
I feel like he literally only exists to give the Khert some narrative menace
It just sucks that he's in a story where literally every other villain is believable and well written. Makes his one dimensionality even more apparent
Cope hasn’t yet fallen for a trope, I may not understand Murkophs’ damage but I am far too suspicious of shenanigans to dismiss his me-love-murderrape as having nothing below.
In fact, I still suspect that the very paucity of imagination on 500% ebil is a hint as to the people who hollowed him out and filled his skin with a collection of snakes.
I’m 99% wrong on him being Ssael that got murdered and to abnegate his existence and purpose they cast his soul to the unsounded and scourged the remainders with the worst snakes they could find, 99% wrong on that theory - but there is certainly something beyond what surface presentation has given.

These borders haven’t been adequately explained, and it’s like Duane walking with a soul - a funny oddity, weird, but ok accept and move on.
But that’s a gods power showing through, and which gods do we know have been cursed to walk the mortal plane? Without even knowledge of their godhood so the curse cuts deeper?
Possibly, she’s the other twin, the uninvolved one, and that unremarkable remarkable power is her lion aspect twin reaching in from the khert, and *that’s* Tirna, maybe supported by Settes overwhelming distaste for twin sacrifices.
Tl;dr - sette has god powers. Which gods do we know who are forced to walk the mortal plane?

Maybe so, it’s one aspect of the genius of cope - there are interpretations available which make sense, even if the reveal makes even more sense.
I mean, if sette were nothing, a nonentity in the plans of the gods. Lady Ilyganang would have had no reason to set up Sette to release Murkoph with her magic hands.
But she did, and she did. Sette is not a nonentity in the powers of the gods, yea maybe being cursed to reincarnate with no memory is a chain on ankle, but we’ve already seen this chapter that reincarnation isn’t even required, sette can rip bad memories out and not know ya without even discorporating.

If you still believe the paper gods of humans are real and there are any actual transcendent gods involved in this story you just don't get it.

Precisely, the fun in it lies in finding where the paper is lying and the real being actually exists.
Seen it, what, 5 times already - from the wandering root to the salt mother?
Sette is sette, there’s rumour of her in paper, and further there’s rumour of her from senet beasts…
I wonder if ruckmerca would shit himself and slither fastest possible if he encountered her, actually, he’s him but he’s lived this long by knowing caution and knowing when to just avoid fights lol.
Pretty sure Boo is just a random friendly ghost who responds to Sette's weird control over khert bullshit. He was already haunted when Sette found him.
I-I mean, surely you can't really do lasting harm to a collection of positive memories, RIGHT? At least not some basic b***h like Murkoph trying to take a bite
I feel like he literally only exists to give the Khert some narrative menace
It just sucks that he's in a story where literally every other villain is believable and well written. Makes his one dimensionality even more apparent
I've been reading since almost the beginning and it's always fascinated me how some of the readership is so repulsed by Murkoph. I have no feelings towards him one way or another other than liking his character design but some of you guys act like he fricked your dad. There's some interesting psychology at play
He's barely even been in the story so far, and the closest he's come to coherence is when he was chasing Sette and Duane out of the khert the last time they were there. I'm kind of at a loss how you'd find someone who has barely been seen "boring".
What most of us are really curious about is exactly why the fricker has the same markings on his face as Ssael does in his religious depictions.
That was so you'd know I've seen all the instances in real-time of spergs losing their shit whenever there's a new Murkoph page. But you're illustrating my point. So defensive and prickly when it comes to Murkoph! Does he remind you of the stepdad that wouldn't keep his large, sinewy cold hands off your ten year old wiener? Nothing else really explains to me the irrational Murkoph fixation Cinemaphile has always had.
I'm fine with Murk, it's pretty clear he has a long history with the Sessine and until we actually get more explained about her we won't know anything about him. So until then he remains the murder hobo. But fixing his sanity will likely help him function more as character instead of a hunger driven animal.
this is his problem as a character tbh. this comic is full of badass men (and women) who we see live through their highest and their lowest moments, and this guy over here is an elfwood porn oc who escaped 1998
I'm fine with it, but it's pretty obvious that the ratio of dark, tortured, handsome men in this comic is rather high. The fact that Murkoph has been the literal face of the site since forever does hint that he may be the original frickboy.
Murkoph just isn't really a character yet
For how significant he clearly is he hasn't really done anything and we don't know anything about him, so all we get is the shallow surface level stuff which is, probably intentionally, pretty unlikable
Probably that's about to change, if he gets to escape and play in the real world with the rest of the cast now
He’s just gonna lick boo, haha. As a prank, you know.
>trapped in the khert
Is Sette kill?
Well Duane's gotta slingshot back to his body eventually. Maybe she can catch a ride, opening or not.
I thought Murk was "better" since Tittybird "fed' him. Guess not.
Where'd he get that jacket anyway. Also frick Murk, Boo didn't deserve this
He's better in the sense that he's not completely out of his gourd, and v is just regular crazy.
I think it just culled the zombie hunger and made him slightly more sane. Exile in khert seemed to be what made him crazy. Though given what we have seen he was still a crazy killer in real life
I wonder if Murk has been in the khert as long as She has

whoa why is murkoph (ssael) looking at ssael (the lion)?
>sup murkoph, there's a sick jacket in the suitcase on my back, go ahead and take it
obviously Ssael and Sette are twins. Ssael is made up of happy gold/blue khert-stuff, while Sette is the "Tirna," made up of red and black misery.
Boo might be part of Ssael, or maybe even Ssael in whole, puppeting Boo through the silver. Seems unlikely but it was a thought I had.
This is what happens when you don't look scary enough Boo
Hey, anon who thought this was Rahm last thread, you in here?
Eat a dick
Baby Sette, doo-doo, doo-doo, doo-doo
Baby Sette, doo-doo, doo-doo, doo-doo
Baby Sette, doo-doo, doo-doo, doo-doo
Baby Sette
This crop is making me uncomfortable.
Check paheal for the full pic. You're welcome.
If they are uncomfortable with the crop, why would they inflict the full image on themselves?
It absolutely should.
I am now a Murk anti
>that wee b***h
Has Tittybird fed lies into his milk? Sette is running blind here. The big bird b***h Ilganyag has you all where she wants, not Sette.
It seems there have been multiple incarnations of Sette. It's possible this is all to a previous incarnation's plan.
Murkoph continues to be the worst part of Unsounded
What an absolutely bland and uninteresting character
I feel like he literally only exists to give the Khert some narrative menace
It just sucks that he's in a story where literally every other villain is believable and well written. Makes his one dimensionality even more apparent

think on this for a minute, will you?
funny how when you know you're typing something stupid the brain tries to justify it with "I've been reading since almost the beginning!"

you will respect the author's barely disguised fetish.
this is his problem as a character tbh. this comic is full of badass men (and women) who we see live through their highest and their lowest moments, and this guy over here is an elfwood porn oc who escaped 1998
anon the main character is also the author's barely disguised fetish
the pretty frickboy is ALSO of the same ilk
you are reading ashley's SMUT
I'm fine with it, but it's pretty obvious that the ratio of dark, tortured, handsome men in this comic is rather high. The fact that Murkoph has been the literal face of the site since forever does hint that he may be the original frickboy.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure he's only in the comic at all 'cos he engenders unfamiliar sensations in Cope's asexual little pussy lol.
Maybe he sees Sette as an extension of Ilganyag and so her plans are merely a cog to the bird’s plan?
oh no
poor boo
Silly customer! You cannot hurt a squishie!
hmmm, taste like chicken.
Is it childloving time?

I'm sorry but I have to drop this comic if anything happened to my man Boo
You mean again?
