He wants interesting memories, power, and worship, cute men and safety in an increasingly hostile world too. He has cooperated with the queen and Bell because they both afforded him some of what he's after, but he wants to work with the black tongues because they can give him it all. The power to influence history, access to some of the most interesting men around, worship, and a safe haven in Juste. His motives are much simpler compared to the machinations of much of our other cast.
